Delicious quirky trattoria

Specialising in typical local cuisine, frequented by locals. The menu is not large but every dish is delicious. Friendly staff. Don't cone here if you're in a rush. You come here to enjoy the atmosphere and the food.

My Italian friends & I organize little international art tours and this is a favorite place we always visit with groups. The cuisine is traditional Ferrara fare created from family recipes and locally sourced ingredients. Food is flavorful and tastes every bit homemade, right down to the pasta, (which is made on site). The atmosphere is utterly charming with rustic... More

We happened on this place on the way from Vicenza to Bologna. It was open for lunch a little later than the first couple of choices we had. That was actually very lucky because we all enjoyed the food immensely. All the cuisine was local and home made. From primi to dolce it was great. And the service from the... More

Very popular and busy restaurant. Food was good, as it usually is in the region. My wife was particularly appreciative of their home-made lasagne, and their traditional pumpkin-filled cappellacci with bolognese sauce were also very good. The rating is average mainly because I was disappointed to not have been able to pair some good wine with the good food. Clients... More

My partner and I had a really nice meal here, we do not speak Italian, the waitress did not speak English but we managed just fine. We had the pasta with the butternut squash and ragu and also a baked cheese dish with grilled vegetables. Nice wine and good deserts. Nice atmosphere, good service and very good value, highly recommended.

Wow!!! This was an amazing experience. The owner makes their own pasta and she does it magnificently. The atmosphere is beautiful and the service was outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Both my wife and I agreed that the lunch was delicious (I personally had pasta with ragu). However, the finest thing I ate in Italy this year was the panzinni with onion marmelade and the mixed cheeses. Man... spread some of the creamy cheese on the panzinni and add the onion marmelade and prepare to moan with delight. Attentive wait... More
