Great local fare, with awesome service and a sommelier to help you pick the perfect wine! One of the best restaurants in Ferrara!

We were recommended this local place by our hotel which is apparently packed in the weekends with locals, thx goodness it was a week night.... We arrived and were seated.... The tables are very close together.... The first thing i noticed is the picture on the wall next to me of the owners/family.... nice to see/know its a family run... More

We had high expectations given the reviews and how busy it was and were disappointed overall. We went on a Saturday night and booked for the second sitting at 2130. The service was fine but very impersonal which let's it down, the food was good but not great.

Really enjoyed our evening here, we were a party of four and we tried a number of the local Ferrara specialities - I really enjoyed the Pappardelle with wild boar - good wine list, top service and very reasonably priced too!

Historical location in the medieval streets of Ferrara. Good local food, but too expensive. you can find better, i think

The busiest restaurant we came across all holiday with people queuing out the door as early as 7.30. We managed to get the last free table at 7 early for Italy. Know I don't eat meat so this was not the best menu for me . My husband had the lasagna though and raved over it. I enjoyed the cheese... More

Food was fresh and homemade. I had a specialty of Ferrara, which is ravioli stuffed with pumpkin in a burnt butter-sage sauce. I found the pumpkin sweet, but nice. Friends raved about the pannacotta desert.

We read Trip Advisor reviews about Trattoria da Noemi. On our first day in Ferrara, we wandered down a street and there it was. We booked a table for 1900hrs; as it turns out, this was essential as Maria Cristina (the proprietor) spent most of the evening compiling a list of customers for vacated tables and politely turning people away.... This family run trattoria is always busy, and usually with locals, always a good sign. They do the local classics and they do them very well. " Capallacci con yucca " (pasta stuffed with a local pumpkin squad) with ragu (meat) sauce, or with butter and sage sauce--delicious! Pasticcio--a local sort of lasagne or timballo with meat and white sauce,... More

Was really looking forward to trying this place today (July 20), but crushed to find out it is closed, for vacation, until August 8th. FYI - They open for dinner at 19:30, so plan accordingly to get there before the crowds. Tripadvisor requires that I give this place a rating in order to leave these comments. I didn't think it...
