Charming place with good food

We had no reservation but were able to get table when it opened at 7:30. By 8:00 it was full. Pretty place and all dishes were well prepared with good ingredients, at a fair price. Service attentive & friendly. Wine list OK with reasonable. prices. Can't go wrong here.

My husband and I go here every Friday for lunch! It has never disappointed us. It is typical Ferrarese cuisine but they make theirs fresh daily. It is a family restaurant and the service is friendly and welcoming. The location is absolutely lovely and when its warm you can sit outside and enjoy a nice Italian evening! It is like... More

Within 5 minute walk of the main square, this small restaurant serves excellent region dishes. Not an empty table to be found at lunch and full of locals which is always a good sign. All staff spoke English, very attentive service, reasonable prices for very good wine, great ambience, and the food was full of flavour. Definitely recommend...

The locals love this trattoria so be sure to book a table in advance. We always go there for their delicious homemade pasta and desserts.

Dined alone at lunch time in this bustling restaurant. Wonderful service. I had some large shaped ravioli with sweet pumpkin filling and basil. Apparently it is a specialty of Ferrara and I enjoyed it so much. It was only lunch time and I only wanted a small meal. I had the ravioli and a small salad but the salad was... More

We ate here because it was close to our apartment, we were starving and it was getting late. The young man who waited on us was sweet, spoke excellent English and advised us on a decent wine. That was the best part of the evening. Service was really SLOW to the point that we finally got up and went inside... More

Went here after the recommendations on trip advisor. As advised we booked and chose to sit outside. It's obviously a very popular restaurant as the place was full and whilst we were there many people were turned away. Unfortunately the service was slow to say the least. We were given menus and water quickly but after that it went downhill.... More

We passed by Osteria Noemi almost every day we were in Ferrara as we walked from the municipal car park ( close by and inexpensive ) to the Duomo Piazza. It looked both interesting and reasonably priced. The night we went ( Thursday ) we were lucky to get in and I would suggest you book if you don't want... More

Sadly enough, this is my first bad review ever. It all started out very well: a young, happy waiter welcomed us with a large smile. But from then on it all went downhill. We had to wait quite a long time to order and get served. Also we had three different waiters serving us in that time. The food was... More

We had a wonderful meal here. Succulent salami, mouthwatering cappellacci stuffed with pumpkin, perfectly cooked lamb and delectable torta all tagliatelle .Service is excellent and the restaurant, which has been in the same family since 1961 , is warm and inviting.
