Was really looking forward to trying this place today (July 20), but crushed to find out it is closed, for vacation, until August 8th. FYI - They open for dinner at 19:30, so plan accordingly to get there before the crowds. Tripadvisor requires that I give this place a rating in order to leave these comments. I didn't think it... It would be difficult to find any place more authentic than Trattoria Da Noemi, although you may need to hunt for it. You can find it jus toff the tourist trails close to the Piazza Trente y Trieste. We had a couple of the local specialties (never tasted pumpkin like this). While many places brag about being authentic, this restaurant... More

Ok so this area is the gastronomic heart of Italy. Ok so the local produce is incredible and the recipes basically simple. But wow ... add to the sublime food, friendly service and cheap (for Italy)

Tried this place on the first night of a recent business trip. The place was really busy even on a Monday evening which is usually a good sign. About an hour after we sat down, there was a queue of 8-10 waiting for a table so it's obviously very popular. The food was excellent quality and well presented but the... More

Went here for a meal with some local business colleagues and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Antipasta was excellent, the 3-tortellini medley was very tasty especially the pumpkin version and the 2" thick steak secondi plati was mouthwatering. Very busy for a Thursday night in early March but that's a good sign I guess. Good service, thoroughly recommended.

This is a family run restaurant, small and so pleasantly intimate in atmosphere. Friendly service and excellent food. It could be a good choice for someone visiting Ferrara for the first time - the location together with the chance to try some of the specialities of the town.

Probably the best pasta we have had on our trip to Bologna and Ferrara. The lasagne is to die for, tortellini also. Service was good too considering it was packed

Great food and excellent wines. I ordered a Steak cooked in Balsamic Vinegar, one of the best meals in our trip. Prime home made pasta. Reservations strongly suggested. Some times they have big groops and there is no place if you dont have a reservation. Is closed Tuesdays. www.trattoriadanoemi.it Tel. 0532.769070

The first time in my life I've tried Souffle and it was amazing! So I recommend to every visitor of this place to order "Sformatino di zucca con fonduta di parmigiano". Very tender, delicate flavour. As fan of pumpkin I've eaten also "Cappellacci di zucca burro e salvia". Very good! Typical bread of Ferrara you can try there. Interesting shape... More

We've eaten here before and shall continue to do so whenever we visit Ferrara.... Simply speaking this is the best local cooked food that you'll find in the area :-)
