Very Nice Dinner!

First, make sure you get good directions since this place is tucked away down more of an alley than a street. The atmosphere is lovely and servers were friendly. The food was great and I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Lovely evening in the old part of Ferrara.

Dinner was amazing. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and would return in a heartbeat. The menu was entirely in Italian but Simone very kindly translated it all for us and gave us suggestions too - take his suggestions, they were excellent. The starters, mains, second courses and desserts were amazing. A somewhat modern take, they were excellently prepared... More

I loved this restaurant, which I visited when in Ferrara for a long week-end with my wife. The restaurant had been recommended by the front-office desk at the hotel, but we did not consider it for dinner as it was described as being very small. We finally landed upon it by coincidence at lunch time, and were lucky enough to... More

A wonderful restaurant with outstanding food and service. Seafood is the specialty, but the cappellaci di zucca was a wonderful primi piatti. Not my first time to this restaurant, and will definitely not be my last.

Disregard the construction on the outside and go here to eat. As one would expect in Ferrara, the breads were excellent. My wife's raw fish plate was superb, and I had some of the best pasta I've had in Italy. Dishes are slightly modern (not molecular, but fresh takes on traditional dishes) and well executed. Friendly service, a solid wine... More

This was the first restaurant that we ate at in Ferrara and it was a knock out. It's a little off the beaten track but, with a map, is easy to find. Wine was delicious and the meal (lunch) was something to remember. The staff was friendly and paced the meal to perfection. Attractive rooms with beautiful art on the... More

We went here for dinner and were extremely friendly greeted by the staff, as we were the first ones, we got a nice table and a Prosecco to start with. The dinner and wine were really very nice, Emilian cuisine with a modern touch. The dishes were served in a perfect pace, leaving enough time, but not too much, between... More

If the restaurant had opened on Wednesdays, I would have been there more than three times during my 4-day visit in Ferrara. I saw the reviews on TripAdvisor and was interested to go there for dinner one night. During the day, I was visiting a monastery nearby and thought I should locate it when the daylight is on. Once I... More

Having visited many restaurants during our 5 months in Ferrara, this is the standout! Most places serve the traditional food of the region - nothing wrong with that - but Quel Fantastico to find somewhere which offered something different. And not just different but really interesting and very very good. And generous. With an excellent wine list. And very professional... More

The restaurant is off the beaten path, but well worth finding. It is a local restaurant that does not typically get many US tourists. No issue. The service was very pleasant and helpful. The food was very good. If we had not already have had a week of eating in Italy, we would have probably appreciated the food more. Regardless,... More
