Delicious Dinner

We went here for dinner and were extremely friendly greeted by the staff, as we were the first ones, we got a nice table and a Prosecco to start with. The dinner and wine were really very nice, Emilian cuisine with a modern touch. The dishes were served in a perfect pace, leaving enough time, but... read more

Disregard the construction on the outside and go here to eat. As one would expect in Ferrara, the breads were excellent. My wife's raw fish plate was superb, and I had some of the best pasta I've had in Italy. Dishes are slightly modern (not molecular, but fresh takes on traditional dishes) and well executed. Friendly service, a solid wine... More

This was the first restaurant that we ate at in Ferrara and it was a knock out. It's a little off the beaten track but, with a map, is easy to find. Wine was delicious and the meal (lunch) was something to remember. The staff was friendly and paced the meal to perfection. Attractive rooms with beautiful art on the... More

If the restaurant had opened on Wednesdays, I would have been there more than three times during my 4-day visit in Ferrara. I saw the reviews on TripAdvisor and was interested to go there for dinner one night. During the day, I was visiting a monastery nearby and thought I should locate it when the daylight is on. Once I... More

Having visited many restaurants during our 5 months in Ferrara, this is the standout! Most places serve the traditional food of the region - nothing wrong with that - but Quel Fantastico to find somewhere which offered something different. And not just different but really interesting and very very good. And generous. With an excellent wine list. And very professional... More

The restaurant is off the beaten path, but well worth finding. It is a local restaurant that does not typically get many US tourists. No issue. The service was very pleasant and helpful. The food was very good. If we had not already have had a week of eating in Italy, we would have probably appreciated the food more. Regardless,... More

Indeed a cosy restaurant with nice food, so we decided to go back there a second time. We ordered the same white wine as the day before. But when we got the bill, instead of 17 €/bottle on the pricelist, this time we had to pay 25€/bottle (+ 50 %)... We tried to discuss this with the lady but she... More

We booked in a group of 8 for Sunday lunch on the recommendation of the landlord of our holiday apartment. On arrival on the Saturday we thought we should check the reservation and got such a wonderful reception that we decided to have lunch there that day. Both times, the food and service were excellent. It is difficult to find,... More

try to sit in the second room, the tables in the first room are very narrow. We liked the place. we made our choice a la carte and found it was god, some of it very good, some traditional Ferrara plates like capelletti alla zucca (with mandorle), a very nice dessert-mix. The red wine by the glass (Grigio da San... More
