Tourist-Milker Alert:

Well, this lot obviously spotted us coming from a mile away! Following an decent, freshly-filled Canoli, a frankly bad chocolate Genovese and two Cappuccinos, a lady with a face like she was sucking a lemon appeared to ..well... pull several prices out of thin air then charge us 2.50 euros for... read more

This pasticceria also does a super self-service lunch where we had potato frittata, caponata, grilled vegetables, bread, water and coffee for two all for E20 and considering we were sitting outside, under a sunshade, watching the world go by along one of the most charming cobbled streets in Erice, it was excellent value.

I agree with with Mark from Poole. It is a little expensive, is on the high street, is looking for tourist custom, and - that's all just fine. The pastries are excellent. The people are friendly! Atmosphere is pleasant and well suited to the surroundings. We did not eat here, so can't speak about anything but the pastries, service, and... More

Love sitting outside and eating anywhere in Italy, Erice was a little more exciting, the cars are almost on your table as you eat, and believe me , it only is a one lane street Had rice ball, Pizza, salad capprese. and very nice people working in and outside, and a Great Cannoli. Great little Pasticceria and Erice is a... More

Of course this Is expensive - it is a pastry cafe on. The high street of Erice - but very friendly and excellent quality - three coffees, three pastries and three large arranchino for €20 - not so bad and better than many places to go. After all, we were on a sacred mountain !

They overcharge, they do not have a price list outside so they can charge whatever they want. After a complain the proprietor said:- the waiter did not tell me you were from Sicily. Expect to pay up to 250% above the average price in other towns. German tourist were charged 6 euro for a Coca-Cola English tourist had to pay... More
