This is one of my favourite stops when visiting the Dolomites. We first went 11 years ago for our honey moon and I continue to make it an annual stop. The owners are always present and very cordial, most of the food and wine is produced at the family farm in the south of the Veneto region, and the chef... More

A pleasant restaurant below the street level. The meat dishes area speciality. My husband ordered lamb chops and had six or eat. When he requested potatoes instead of polenta it was done with out hesitation. The family makes there own Cabernet wine and we were impressed. My beef tips with maroons over polenta was tasty and hearty.

Cortina offers a wide choice of restaurants, from the formal place in town to the rifugi on the slopes. If you opt for the former, say for a dinner with friends, Ra Stua is always a great choice. An accomplished, traditional restaurant, always busy (may foreign tourists), it offers a great menu and a great choice of wines. Professional service... More

Went to this restaurant on a recommendation, promised excellent food. The restaurant itself was nice in that alpine unpretentious way and the staff were helpful to a point. I ordered the fillet steak with porcini mushrooms, by chance the couple next to me has ordered the same, just prior to me. They were unhappy that the Steak was seriously undercooked... More

Ra Stua down behind the Regina Hotel in Cortina Italy was a fantastic place to eat. The pasta was freshly made and the wine which was local from that area was great as well. I would highly recommend going their to eat if you are looking for a place. The decor was nice. The Waiter was great and attentive and... More

My husband and I had dinner here in January 2014 while visiting Cortina on a skiing holiday. From the outside, the restaurant looked lovely and had a great atmosphere. However, the food just wasn't good. My husband ordered lamb chops medium rare but they turned out to represent all shades with half being utterly over-cooked and grey and, at the... More

The setting was nice. The selection also good of both dinners and wines. The problem is everyone in Cortina seems to have set the same prices. One of our groups choice of chicken was awful and dry. I had wonderful papardelle with Venison sauce. I would suggest you go for what the locals are known for...mainly meats and pastas where... More

We loved this restaurant. Everything they serve is raised by the family on their ranch or garden, including the wine! The bistecca fiorentina was delicious, as was the risotto, the gnocchi, and everything else we ordered. The service was excellent, friendly. Save room for the apricot grappa--also homemade!.

We shared a mixed grill plate within our family (2 adults + 3 children 10-15 y). There had been other interesting courses on the menu too. The atmosphere was nice, service good&flexible, the wine recommendation fitted very well with the meats. Very nice place to get together with family or friends!
