We went for a late lunch on New Year's Day and we're lucky enough to sit in the heated and covered "outside" area. There wasn't a cloud in the sky and the deep blue contrasted beautifully with the golden Dolomites. The food was very good, particularly the lamb cutlets, and the service was excellent. This is an authentic Italian restaurant,... More

We decided to spend five nights here, after dining one year ago and loving the meal. The family is very friendly, and works diligently to answer our questions. Adolfo suggested some really good hikes. We ate here four of the five nights. Great meals and just a walk upstairs when done. We will return! Erik and Kathy S.

We ate twice, evenings. The service was professional and good, so was the food. Nicely decorated. Reasonably priced. We much enjoyed our dinner and came back the other night. The team was very freindly.

Had dinner at Baita Fraina last night with a large group. The food and service were outstanding. The menu had so many interesting choices on it that several of us decided to share our plates. Among the delicious items were the mushroom filled ravioli, the pheasant salad, the tagliatelle (both with deer meat and lamb), and the veal cheeks --... More

Stumbled upon this place on a walk down from Mandres to Cortina after a trip up in the cable car. Stopped for a drink and to let the children play in the playground, looked at the menu, and took one of the last remaining tables for lunch outside! Good pasta, delicious lamb and the beef with funghi porcini was out... More

The food is always pretty consistent and the service too. Both are good. Try onion spaghetti and rack of lamb. The selection of steak tartare is good too. The prices are not bad considering you are in cortina. Have fun.

It is a nice place joinable by feet from Zuel in about 45 minutes. The food is excellent and the wine list is great (Italian and French wines).

Very nice restaurant, located out of town, 5 mnts by car. Tried tagliata manzo and cervo mirtillo accompanied with a nice bottle of Chianti classico riserva. Great food&atmosphere, just what you need after a good day at the slopes.

Separate small dining rooms within this restaurant give it a cosy feel. This was our most expensive meal in Cortina, although it was closest to the centre of town, so the lower taxi fare probably evened things out. Very traditional feel restaurant and we didn't think the cooking was entirely successful. The flavour of my venison loin was destroyed by... More
