My friend and I spent one night in Civitavecchia prior to a cruise. We had spent a week in Tuscany and needed to drop off our rental car at Hertz. I asked the man where we could get some pizza for a late lunch. He recommended Pizzeria del Ghetto, just a couple of blocks away (behind Ristorante da Baffone thru... More

Great pizza! Only two types, but the quality is excellent. One-half of a huge pizza is enough for two people. Served on paper; outside tables with benches. Arrive early (7:30 pm) if you don't want to stand in line for a table. You'll spend only about 15 Euros total for 2 people, including drinks.

This place is great. Came for a takeaway and was able to see them make their huge pizzas in the pizza oven. There is a simple menu, you can have margarita, sausage and mushroom and also just tomato sauce on top. Even though it seems simple the taste is great. Good place to come with lots of people and families.... More

They only have two types of pizza, marinara and margherita, but they are both amazing! And they are open for lunch too!

The best sign of quality is usage by locals, and this place was full by nights, but we visited it by day. It was weird to eat pizza from paper, with your fingers, but simplicity made it special. I would believe that here you can eat pizza, like they did it in Italy in the past, in beginning of pizza-history.

We stumbled on this great pizza place, they only did two toppings on their pizzas. You could have just half a pizza which was more than enough for two people. All very reasonable. They served the pizza on grease proof paper and you sat at tressle tables in a little square just off the sea front. A great little place... More

Loved the pizza. Very reasonable prices. We were able to purchase just half a pie and enjoyed eating outside on quiet plaza. The beer was good too! Many locals eat here. While we were there we enjoyed watching a family celebrating a little boys birthday, It is close to port and main shopping street, Not hard to find. Great place... More

Stopped here for lunch. They only make two varieties of pizza....like 2 choice of toppings! Crust is good and crispy. The sauce was a little sweet but that was because of the freshness of the tomatoes. Bench seating outside. We walked by during dinner and the place was packed.
