Summary - Superb food complemented by flawless service in a setting of an Italian mansion set in low vineyard covered hills. Worth a long detour to experience it. Food - excellent and creative. We took the tasting menu with the suggested wine pairings menu, which for a one-star restaurant were reasonable in price. Each course of the meal was exquisitely... More

Sadly, the service was so incredibly slow, it was like the elephant in the room. People looked so bored. Plus, the air conditioning was pretty much null, so the grill inside was like a campfire. Smoky smell in the dining room, and the hot air, we almost passed out waiting for our food. The food was ok, not as good... More

Good restaurant but incorect bill. Nobody can feel good if was cheated. We were there four adults and four children. Food was delicious, mood of the place nice. Staff friendly and smiling. In the restaurant was extremaly hot, and muggily. We ordered 3 starters : including 2 carpaccio and 1 pumpkin flowers. On the second plate we had bistecca alla... More

Food and service were impeccable. All courses of the degustazione menu were delicious, but the gnocchi was the best I ever had. For my surprise, it was not overpriced.

We stayed at L'Andana, as we wanted to try Chef Ducasse' Tuscan experience (having stayed previously at his Provence location), and of course had to try the associated restaurant. Our first dinner there, the pace of the staff was frenetic, the restaurant was full, we had an 830 seating, the appetizer was good but unfortunately the two secondi dishes were... More

The modern vision of Tuscan cuisine. Perfect wine list combine with perfect food. The best meal which I had in this place - "Fregola" cooked like risotto. This a sample of the chef's professionalism. Thank you for your art.

This resturant is part of Alain Ducasse connection. When you get of the road to the resturant which is in the hotel, the signage should have been better displayed. The resturant itself ( once you are there), is a wonderful experience. The welcome is perfect, the seating is perfect as well. The service people, are friendly, and very professional. The... More

Arrived for luncheon, seated outside away from children playing football next to the restaurant. Obviously a difficult day for some reason for the restaurant as the buffet luncheon served in a tiny hot room with a tiny two foot square grill for the whole restaurant could not keep up. Essentially there were no plates as well as no food. Empty... More

Yesterday we visited this one of the most beautiful places. We came with a family for dinner. Tried a few dishes. Fish was ok. Tagliatta - the beef that is supposed to be tender was impossible to chew, the knife didn't help. The only pasta dish that was in a menu was so hard we gave up eating. Not al... More
