Looked touristy by name but rather more authentic than expected

We were a little cautious about how this visit would turn out as we read some fairly mixed reviews. I was really looking for a good fish experience but Kay J's review made me wonder how we'd come out of this restaurant. Service/Servizio: We were seated immediately after arrival, we'd been... read more

Been here so many times as native from cervia the food is impeccable, service could easily be from a London fine dining! Big variety of pizzas as well as lots of main coursesraning from pasta to sea food. Nothing you can fault in this place!! Probabily one of the bests in cervia!!

Our hotel receptionist recommended to go this restaurant. There was a que out the door and as we did not have a reservation we had to wait a little to get in. We were welcomed by Andres - supposedly the only English speaking waiter in the restaurant. And we were just too lucky! We experienced great service in mid price... More

Went here twice, Andrea (Andrew) was really helpful in selecting what food to choose (Really good food), good value. The 2nd night they had a Jazz band playing which was cool, A must to go especilly if you like fish.

Al Pirata was only a couple of blocks from our hotel, which recommended it. It is large and comfortable, but we stopped in early without a reservation. They accommodated us, but under protest and tried to rush us through and impose a menu of their choice. We rebuffed this rudeness, and they then changed waiters and the rest of our... More

The food here was great. But we felt at times that the service staff was taking advantage of the language barrier. A couple f times we ended up ordering something VASTLY more expensive than we believed it would be. And didn't realize it until the check came.

We spent a week in Cervia as we have family friends in the area. They suggested we visit Ristorante Al Pirata as we intending to go out and eat some good Italian pizza... lets just say it wasn't the experience we were expecting. We arrived and were shown to our table. The waiter did speak English but did not appear... More

About 1.20pm, we found ourselves at ‘Al Pirata’, we have been really looking forward to having a fish dinner by the Adriatic, where the fish is so fresh. We felt we had to do it! We decided to share a grilled platter of fish, which was intended as one portion, but when it arrived, we kept asking the waiter, ‘For... More

Amazing food. It feels and it tastes like Italy from the first bite to the last. Customer care is great. Don't hesitate to ask for tips on what to order. We wanted to order a lot of stuff and the person attending us advised us to order less because the portions are big. I recommend the seafood soup, the "cozze",... More
