The locals come from the bank and local shoppes. The word most heard in this tiny coffee shoppe is Ciao! The second most heard word is Grazie!. If you want to pretend you are Italian - order in Italian and stand aside. There is only room for 10 people max but you will enjoy fabulous coffee at non-NYC pricing. Don't... More

We visited L'Espressino, one afternoon after a big day out on the lake. Very friendly, English spoken. A must visit if you like a great coffee.

Make sure you pop in here for great coffee and pastries and mix with the locals if you are in the area. It is located right on the main street so you can't really miss it, we were staying in Moltrasio which is the next village on the lake and we strolled down into Cernobbio for a mid morning coffee... I drink espresso everyday. Most of the time in quads. On my way back to the Ville d' Este, I stopped at L Espressino and had a fantastic espresso experience with the locals. Making plans for next visit tomorrow!

If you are ever in Cernobbio, or any area around Lake Como, please spare a few minutes to have a cup of coffee and some pastries. I almost did not have my breakfast there because there were no chairs, but the smell of coffee was really good. Had an espresso and my wife had a cup of cappuccino. A couple... More

L'Espressino is our place of choice for our daily caffeine kick start to the day. The coffee is the best in Cernobbio and has some of the best confectionary gifts for your loved one. Although expensive the Easter eggs were works of art. L'Espressino was opened about 18 months ago and the decor is still fresh in it's design. Anyone... More

Our friend was dreaming of the coffee from this tiny café and upon reaching the town our first stop was here. Quick service, cheerful, inexpensive and very popular with the locals, which to me is always a good indication of quality. Delectable treats and seriously GOOD coffee.

Nice decor, really beautifully furnished with warm colours. The personnel is fantastic, friendly and efficient, the two of them handle I don't kow how many people at the same time, always with a smile on their face. Really professional people. Busy in the morning with local people dropping in for a quick cappuccino, the owner seems to know everybody, there... More

It took me a little while to find this place, only because I was trying too hard. It was right on the corner in the center of town, but somehow I thought it was tucked away on a side street. Once I found it I had my perfect espresso with pastry. The shop lady was very nice, and YES the... More
