Very nice restaurant, only need to walk a little bit from town.

We tried to avoid touristy restaurants in town and wanted some purely cooked Sicilian food so we went to Al Faro. Not once but twice. It is off the coast and needed a 10 minutes walk. It provides many outside seats on opposite of the restaurant, leaving quiet romantic atmosphere which we loved so... read more

We tried to avoid touristy restaurants in town and wanted some purely cooked Sicilian food so we went to Al Faro. Not once but twice. It is off the coast and needed a 10 minutes walk. It provides many outside seats on opposite of the restaurant, leaving quiet romantic atmosphere which we loved so much. I ordered seafood dishes which... More

We make it a point to visit Al Faro several times every time we visit Cefalu. As most tables are outside just feet from the sea, the atmosphere couldn't be better. Mimmo, one of the waiters, has always had menu's available within seconds, but never rushes his customers. It's hard to recommend any particular item on the menu because everything... More

An easy walk out of the centre - and easily accessible by car (unlike many of the restaurants in the old town). The waiters are great, as is the food - especially the fish and the squid carpaccios and all the fresh seafood. This is the one restaurant where we tried the tiramisu and we weren't disappointed - homemade and... More

What more can you ask? We ate lunch here several times during our week's stay in Cefalu and each meal was better than the last. The two waiters were fantastic and worked so hard but on every occasion were extremely informative and friendly. Considering they are outside the main area of restaurants they were always full and deservedly so. We... More

Excellent food, wine, service. Meals served on a terrace overlooking the bay. Try the 3-course €15 menu - there's also a 3-course €10 (drinks extra on both).

Went here based on the reviews and great location slightly out of the main tourist part of Cefalu - the two waiters deserve huge praise for the fantastic job they do in providing great service, we couldn't fault them. However the food wasn't great and I wouldn't recommend it based on the night we went - maybe we had an... More

This restaurant was on our walking route from our hotel to Cefalu , we first stopped for lunch with an anti pasta starter shared which was excellent, we revisited another twice during our 2 week stay , recommend the mixed anti pasta starter of cold meats ,cheese, anchovies ,etc . Pasta and fish dishes were very good and we would recommend... More

Located close to the lighthouse just outside cefalu, 5min walking from the cathedral. Had the homemade pasta with shrimps and mushrooms for about 10€ I thought this was a really good meal. Service was very friendly but stressed. I would recommend going here before the sunset since they have tables overlooking the ocean but when we got here it was... More

We went to this restaurant after reading all the good reviews on Trip advisor. To be honest we where disappointed! The restaurant is next to the street, we where first seated right outside the restaurant with cars driving right pass us. We asked if we could sit on the other side, next to the water. The waiter prepared a table... More

Yes! Yes! Yes! We went to this place 2 nights in a row at the tail end of our vacation and we wish we had tried it earlier. We probably would have gone a third time! Excellent food, excellent service, excellent all around. Our first night we shared the grilled pecorino antipasto, my husband had the grilled swordfish and I... More
