Best restaurant in the two weeks we spent in Sicily

This is a tiny, very comfortable restaurant near the harbor in Cefalu. It is off the beaten track and we were lucky to find it. We ate there twice. It is primarily a seafood restaurant and the fish is caught locally, is fresh and is perfectly cooked and presented. We knew immediately that it was... read more

Great location out of town near the lighthouse with tables on the other side of the road. Had lunch on two occasions , food was good but service was slow. Second time I wanted to pay with a preloaded Euro card but they insisted on putting the bill through in GBP blaming there machine! This cost me an exchange rate... More

This was the only restaurant we visited more than once during our stay. We would have gone there more often but it was the furthest from where we were staying. It's on the road out towards the marina and the lighthouse. The location is superb. The actual restaurant is on one side of the road but most of the tables... More

This little restaurant is situated between the eastern end of the old town of Cefalù and the harbour just below the old lighthouse. There is only seating ourside, lovely and overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Problem was that this was the last evening of our holiday and we had stormy weather with heavy rains so couldn't sit there. The staff was... More

To reach Al Faro head out of the old town towards the lighthouse and marina. It's about 400 yards up. Excellent pasta with sea urchins, also very good zuppa di cozze (mussels in a spicy sauce). Inexpensive too - on our second visit my wife and I each had mussels and dessert; we also had half a litre of good... More

Although set on a main road, we had lunch on the wide pavement on the other side of the road from the actual restaurant and overlooking the sea. Happily set away from the busy tourist areas in town, it is only a few minutes walk uphill (slight gradient) from the cathedral. Service was brilliant, nothing was too difficult, and everything... I went here on the advice of TripAdvisor and so glad we did. Situated a few minutes walk from the old town towards the harbour. A lovely stone built building with outside seating opposite. I started with a mixed platter of antipasti which was delicious and well presented. Afterwards I had a pasta dish of homemade variety with swordfish and... More

This restaurant is very charming. Situated near the Marina, you can sit outside in the shadow of the lighthouse, watching the sun set over Cefalu- very picturesque. Food was of a high standard. Highlights being the grilled local cheese starter, the Sea Urchin Pasta & the grilled fish mixed grill. Very nice local wine & friendly staff. Tables are quite... More

Nice restaurant a little bit outside the main tourist roads. It's perfect located if you are stationed at the marina. The service was very friendly and quick. Between the restaurant and the outside area with the view is a road. The pasta we had was very good, the view is magnificent, very much so at sunset. The pricing was very... More

The food was great at this place. We had red prawns and risotto. The overall best food in Cefalu. But the staff was not that great. They should pay more attention. Either way, we recommend.
