Great location reasonably priced terrific food

I had tagliatelle ai fungi my wife veal in Marsala sauce. All very well cooked spiced and seasoned. Location on the sea line overlooking idyllic bay. We went a few years ago second trip would highly recommend to Cefalu visitors.

We found this restaurant while strolling down the streets of old town Cefalu in Sicily. What a delightful find it was. We made reservations for the following night, and despite a bit of cloudiness over the sea, we still experienced dining in an old world type of service and ambiance. The maitre d' recognized that our Italian was limited, so... More

My friends and I ate at Il Covo del Pirata for lunch 3 or 4 times while staying in Cefalu`. The atmosphere is very nice and we were surprised at how reasonable it was for lunch. My favorite thing was a generous portion of grilled calamari which was very tender and well seasoned and it came on a platter with... More

It is a restaurant next to medieval laundry, so visiting this place we went to this restaurant a bit by chance. But of course based on good score on Tripadvisor. And it was fantastic choice. I took fish menu (menu di pesce). As a starter there was a marinated swordfish carpaccio - excellent! As a first course there was a... More

Their mixed seafood both fried and grilled were good. The view is really great. I wasn't the best meal I've ever had but I would go back.

Cosy place, very friendly people, service was great! We had 'spada' which is sword fish, Primi portions are quite big, so we had troubles finishing it. The location is perfect! Very nice atmosphere! Food not the best we've had in Sicily, but definetly worth it!

We had lunch here based on the recommendation of a tour guide. The food was a mixed bag. The eggplant parmigiana was delicious, but the shrimp pasta was lackluster. The view was very nice, but service was average.

This place trades entirely off its location. Very pretty overlooking the sea. Service is Ok but food is average at best. Dishes of the day were both overcooked and bland and pasta dishes were big on pasta and short of everything else. Very poor wine list.

We happened upon this restaurant by chance as one of the entrances is adjacent to the Lavatoio Medievale, an ancient washing place for clothes, with a natural underground stream running through. We had table 13 (didn't find this out 'til after when speaking with Il Patron(?). Beautifully sited in a floor to ceiling window - open - looking out onto... More
