We enjoyed a nice dinner here - great food and fun watching all of the interaction of the local families and friends. The waiter was friendly and very cute, but also provided great service. The place was hopping and a huge party came in with lots of kids and family of all ages. With the limited staff and a full... More

You recognize the feeling - good vibes in the air, good service, smiling faces, quick served, well served with open eyes and good footwork . Clean, no fuzz, right level. Pleasant. Just like a wine bar should be.

On the main tourist street in Castellina. A small, modern restaurant with tourists eating and a few groups of local youth drinking. Attentive, professional service and nicely presented food. Not the cheapest but some quality on show in the bruschetta plate, gnocchi and ribolata. Unfortunately they served the glasses of chianti with some bits of cork floating. Would have given... More

Stopped in here for dinner on the way home from a day of sightseeing. The night was warm and there were a lot of people out so it made it a great spot to soak up the atmosphere. The meal whilst not outstanding was more than acceptable and the service was prompt and friendly. The wine list was good. Would... More

Next door is a highly rated eatery but these guys do it very nicely in my opinion. The service is good and the prices fair and the meals are of a good size and a little different from next door. It has an nice outside area and co-joins the restaurant next door, the service is attentive and eager. I enjoyed... More

This wine bar serves food but on our visit there we weren't impressed by it. We both had pasta dishes but they didn't taste like the 'homemade' pasta available in most of the other restaurants in the town. The staff were good but we felt that maybe it's strength is in wine service rather than food.

We ended up here as they are next door to a good pizza place, which was full. Overall the food is not so bad, but there are much better options in town. As noted by an other reviewer, the wild boar pasta is mainly pasta, with a very limited amount of meat. The taste was not bad though. Overall the... More

We visited this restaurant for lunch today. What a terrible mistake!! The only positive thing was that the waiter was somewhat cheerful and efficient. For starter we ordred bruschetta pomodoro. It was totally tastless. The tagliatelle with wild-boar stew was almost completely without the wild-boar stew. And, of course, totally tastless. The restaurant is a total disaster - stay away.... The food is average as is the selection, but this is not meant to be gourmet food. Sitting out on the pedestrian street is all the entertainment you need to enjoy the experience. We had tasty crostini, acceptable crepes, reasonably priced.
