One of the best restaurants we tried in Castellina. Nice location on a piazza, excellent food and very friendly service. No pizza

I really enjoyed this restaurant. The home made pasta starter was delicious and the osso bucco alla toscana was a change from the usual osso bucco. The wine menu was very reasonable and extensive and the service was friendly and efficient. It is on the pedestrian main square and parking was easy.

This was one of the places we visited during our two week holiday in the area. We had a lovely meal (pizza, ossabuco, pasta). Delicious, good value for money and good service.

We ate here on our first day, we had lunch downstairs on the terrace, and really enjoyed it. I had the local pasta with cheese and black pepper, it's was simple and delicious, the kids had pizza which were thin based and tasty. All in all I would eat here again next time in castellina.

We had a nice lunch for 6 of us, had 4 perfect pizzas (best ever we had), 1 pasta pomodoro, green salad, prochiutto with melon, chianti, deserts (tiramisu, Panna cotta, cheesecake) and paid 100 EUR. All foods were exceptionally good. Staff are also nice and patient.

I find myself having to disagree with the much accumulated sentiment around this restaurant located in Castello di Chianti. The calzone was just OK. Too much cheese—which was very un-Italian in pizza. There was very little meat. However, others in the group who had pizza seemed to like it. The service was friendly enough but nothing overcomes the mediocrity of... More

A nice restaurant, recommended by a wine shop. Great food, nicely done. It was bussy, and the team was under-staffed and were struggling with getting everybody happy. Food: excellent! wine: check your bill..-:) I ordered a Chianti Reserve (half a bottle at 20 euro), but they served a cheaper Chianti of 12 Euro's. . At the cash register, they corrected.... More

We stopped here for lunch when exploring the Chianti area. What looked like a usual kind of place turned out to be one of our best meals of our Tuscany week. The restaurant serves traditional local cuisine and does and excellent job. Food was delicious, staff very friendly. We had pici (the local pasta) and some other local meal the... More

We went to Tre Porte on the our last night in Castellina in Chianti. Sat inside as it was a tad chilly. Wonderful waitress and waiter - genuinely help and subtly attentive. Great thought had gone into the menu with a priority on "fresh" - if it wasn't fresh, i.e. it had been frozen, it said so. The wine list... More

We had a very nice dinner on the front terrace with good food (pizza & pasta) and a very nice and attentive (and multilingual) service.
