Just fantastic... the ambiance is very familiar and relaxed and the food is just to die for. Definitely a place I would drive an extra 50km for another bowl of that amazing fish soup.

My partner and I were staying in hotel Stabia just across the road and the staff there recommended this restaurant. We loved it so much we came back on our last night! Food is absolutely cooked to perfection and tastes incredible, the manager is charming and the decor is also lovely. A fantastic environment for a romantic meal. Couldn't recommend... More

2 friends and us were desperate to find a "real" place where to find "excellent" traditional food, away from the snobbish (and expensive) so called 1 star restaurant... Bistrot is in fact the perfect place in Castellammare where to taste excellent traditional food, cooked like home, with only fresh ingredients...and a touch of excellence in preparation that makes you want... Family of 4 adults ate here after reading trip advisor reviews, rustic, traditional place with pleasant owner, son and wife attending. We had a selection of anti pasti, primi and secondi and puds. All freshly prepared, simple but average. The pancetta frutta Di bosca was tasty but I think 'chef' had dropped a few too many gelatine/setting leaves in as... More

We weren't sure of the menu at first and carried on looking for another restaurant but decided to come back as nothing else appealed, We were very glad we did. The service was warm and friendly. We had a lovely meal and very enjoyable evening.

This tiny restaurant one steer back from the water is a hidden gem. All dishes are made fresh on the day, with local off the menu specialities that are worth asking about. The pasta is absolutely perfect the seafood pasta if the day is exceptional. But the calamari is in a class of its own. Perfectly cooked. Melt in your... More
