We visited this restaurant during white truffle festival in Piemonte and i can honestly say that here it was the best value for money. Great food, innovative menu-we ate a combination of white and black truffle dishes and very good service. The location is also special, in the same place where the Slow food movement started.

This is the cradle of the “Slow Food” movement started by Carlo Petrini in 1986, in reaction to the Mc Donald-led fast food invasion of Italy. The movement promotes traditional cooking using ingredients produced locally. We were served a fantastic lunch consisting of chicken breast with balsamic vinegar, yellow peppers with garlic and anchovies sauce, “40 egg yolk” home-made pasta... More

We made reservations after hearing how busy this restaurant was. They opened for lunch that Tuesday at 12:30. We were seated immediately, and tables filled up FAST! Everything about our meal was delightful. The starters were cued to the local and imaginative, and the mains were full of flavor and perfectly cooked. We decided on two half bottles of wine... More

After having been to the Salone del Gusto just a few days before..we were staying in Bra and went in to see if we could get a table...they were completely booked so we asked for Sunday night...they were also booked but he said if you don't mind sitting here, we can get you in. Very accomodating...5 stars for that! The... More

Delicious, delicious, delicious. I ate here with people I was meeting for the first time, and the atmosphere was relaxing and inviting, making the meet up a happy success. I tried a couple of very rich dishes - something I don't normally do - but who cares. It was autumn in Piemonte and that means bagna cauda and the melted... More

Everything on every plate was close to perfect. The starting plate of raw meat, sausage and lard was one of the most memorable and freshest plates of simple goodness I've eaten in a country known for such things. My friend's pasta (Tajarin) was superb (though not quite as good as the Old Tower's in Barbaresco), and the truffles my other... More

This restaurant doesn't need my review as it is doing just fine without this review. However, we enjoyed it so much that we would be remiss not to mention how outstanding this restaurant is in Piedmont. Every dish has had such care in handling and in presentation the food is honored here. As everyone else has commented , you should... More

Had lunch here on a recent food and wine tour of the Piemonte. We had an excellent 5 course lunch paired with extremely good wines. Service was great and nothing was rushed. We spent two hours enjoying our lunch. There 40 egg yolk pasta has to be tasted to be believed. All the dishes were excellent and none were over... More

It has been a great experience dining here. Excellent and pleasant service. The good quality is great! From starter, pasta, main course, to dessert, very good balance and well designed. The 40 egg yolk pasta is the taste from heaven! I have a rabbit and my wife has a grilled veal, both made me mouth watering. A 20 min ride... More
