Perfect dinner and perfect bill

The great thing of this small restaurant is the quality of the food (vitello tonnato, brasato al Barolo and rabbit) compared to the total bill which is more than acceptable. The wines by the glass are also a good choice. This is a great way to promote Italian quality food! Well done.

If what you are looking for is traditional pimontese food, cooked in an excellent way, you are in the right place. On the menu you can basically find all the main specialties from piedmont: do not miss tajarin, a sort of pasta (tagliatelle) prepared by using 40 yolks, and brasato, a tasty veal roast prepared with barolo wine. In november... More

I was directed to this restaurant (after all not far from my hotel, into Bra ancient center) with my colleague, during a business trip in Bra. We thus attended it for two consecutive nights (also because, being low season, the other best restaurants in Bra were all closed). All the food I've tasted in the two nights it was good... More

We visited this restaurant during white truffle festival in Piemonte and i can honestly say that here it was the best value for money. Great food, innovative menu-we ate a combination of white and black truffle dishes and very good service. The location is also special, in the same place where the Slow food movement started.

This is the cradle of the “Slow Food” movement started by Carlo Petrini in 1986, in reaction to the Mc Donald-led fast food invasion of Italy. The movement promotes traditional cooking using ingredients produced locally. We were served a fantastic lunch consisting of chicken breast with balsamic vinegar, yellow peppers with garlic and anchovies sauce, “40 egg yolk” home-made pasta... More

We made reservations after hearing how busy this restaurant was. They opened for lunch that Tuesday at 12:30. We were seated immediately, and tables filled up FAST! Everything about our meal was delightful. The starters were cued to the local and imaginative, and the mains were full of flavor and perfectly cooked. We decided on two half bottles of wine... More

After having been to the Salone del Gusto just a few days before..we were staying in Bra and went in to see if we could get a table...they were completely booked so we asked for Sunday night...they were also booked but he said if you don't mind sitting here, we can get you in. Very accomodating...5 stars for that! The... More

Delicious, delicious, delicious. I ate here with people I was meeting for the first time, and the atmosphere was relaxing and inviting, making the meet up a happy success. I tried a couple of very rich dishes - something I don't normally do - but who cares. It was autumn in Piemonte and that means bagna cauda and the melted... More
