The best restaurant, not just in Bormio but also in the whole valley. Wonderful local food: pizzoccheri (brown corn pasta with season vegetebles and local cheese), also gluten free; sciatt (pasta and cheese fried in form of little mouse, that's to say sciatt), and the best bresaola in Italy. Fixed price (30 auro complete dinner: salami and cheese, pizzoccheri, sciatt,... More

Great place. Pizzocheri excellent. Ambience and service very good. The tables outside give you a feel that takes you back in time.

Traditional food, simple, homemade and tasty. A very local place so don’t be offended by a handwritten menu turistico, they don’t really have a menu here but do their best to accommodate everyone. Your best choice if you want to taste local delicacies, a plate of cured meats and cheeses, followed by sciatt, small fritters of buckwheat and Casera cheese... More

Very good food and service. It seems a typical restaurant to go with friends and family; a good typical place to visit in Bormio, especially if you're hungry as the portions are generous and delicious.

My fiancé and I are frequent visitors to this restaurant whenever we are in Bormio, as we really enjoy how authentic the food is, and how friendly the staff are. They are nearly always full, which is saying something (so I recommend to book!) The food is exquisite - make sure you try the Pizzocheri, it's amazingly creamy and VERY... More

The place offers a single set menu with the most traditional dishes from Valtellina: bresaola and salami, pizzoccheri, polenta with sausages and pork ribs. All is very tasty, but very heavy, e.g. the pizzoccheri floated on a rich layer of grease. The dining room is simple and old style, the service is good, it's a nice experience, but don't expect...
