Traditional food, simple, homemade and tasty. A very local place so don’t be offended by a handwritten menu turistico, they don’t really have a menu here but do their best to accommodate everyone. Your best choice if you want to taste local delicacies, a plate of cured meats and cheeses, followed by sciatt, small fritters of buckwheat and Casera cheese... More

Very good food and service. It seems a typical restaurant to go with friends and family; a good typical place to visit in Bormio, especially if you're hungry as the portions are generous and delicious.

My fiancé and I are frequent visitors to this restaurant whenever we are in Bormio, as we really enjoy how authentic the food is, and how friendly the staff are. They are nearly always full, which is saying something (so I recommend to book!) The food is exquisite - make sure you try the Pizzocheri, it's amazingly creamy and VERY... More

The place offers a single set menu with the most traditional dishes from Valtellina: bresaola and salami, pizzoccheri, polenta with sausages and pork ribs. All is very tasty, but very heavy, e.g. the pizzoccheri floated on a rich layer of grease. The dining room is simple and old style, the service is good, it's a nice experience, but don't expect... A place not to miss. The best pizzoccheri in Bormio. It's something we (a group of friends - nickname Cionchi) never miss coming in this area. Correct price. Need to book beforehand.

Unlike most restaurants here you get no extensive menu but a simple overview of a 5 course menu that lets you no choice. It is a sequence of typical local dishes made with love and amply sufficient to leave the table with a well-filled belly . The menu with wine, water and coffee is 30 Euro / person and you... More

You will love this, the food is simple, typical and sublime. You'll not taste better pizzocheri, or lighter cannoli in all of bormio. But be sure you know what you are getting - this is a fixed menu of local dishes delivered perfectly in simple and warm surroundings. You do get free reign on the drinks font, but the house... More

This appears to be an excellent restaurant and myself and family were very much looking forward to eating here, after having some difficulty booking a table as it was so popular. Unfortunately, though, we weren't aware that if offered only a fixed menu, which in fact looked excellent - but really didn't cater for the two vegetarians in the family.... More

Treat yourself to lunch (or dinner) at Vecchia Combo (located just down the road from the Hotel Funivia) and adjacent to a medieval church. You can eat outside with a spectacular view down the valley. They offer a five course lunch for 30 Euros that I suggest you split between two people (it is huge!). The main event is a... More
