Bordighera market on Thursdays is a fun place to shop. Foods and clothing at reasonable prices abound. Less crowded than nearby San Remo. Town is great to shop in also. Eurodrink has excellent wines and all exotic liquors; like Sassigaia Grappa! So, we go to the market and then, head to Amarea at the eastern end of the market for... More

The staff is friendly but slooooooooooow. The wine list is excellent - price AND quality. The view is non- existent. We chose this because Mariarge was not open. The food, while very honest... More

I had dinner here with my family and really enjoyed the food, the location, the service, etc. Do not missed if you are in town! Its reputation is fair.

I visited Amarea after seeing it's strong reviews on TripAdvisor and was not blown away. I had the catch of the day, which was delicious but a fairly small portion (compared to previous meals in Italy where I had trouble finishing the dish). The staff was friendly, and overall it seemed more tourist-friendly (good or bad depending on how you... More

My husband and I were actually on our way to another restaurant when we passed by Amarea and I remembered reading the great reviews on Trip Advisor so we decided to try it. Even though we did not have reservations and it was a Saturday night, they found room for us - and we were so glad they did. Everything... More

I have just returned from eleven days in Bordighera and when I had to decide which restaurant in which to enjoy my last lunch alone before leaving, I chose Amarea for the sheer comfort, wonderful food, atmosphere and service. It is located right on the beach at the end of the lungomare. This was my third visit to Amarea. The... More
