Comfort food in one of the greatest trattorie

A trattoria means a simple restaurant, but that doesn’t mean that the food isn’t good. On the contrary. Trattoria do have less frills and are usually less expensive. The aim of Locanda al Gambero Rosso is to recreate the flavors of the past, local dishes made with local produce and served with... read more

Each time a new menu and a new masterpieces...Not something fusion, innovative, futuristic.. Just deep local origin ingredients and culture. It is not just a dinner, but... More

Driving from the Euganean Hills to Umbria we planned to stop for lunch at Gambero Rosso and we were lucky as they had just re-opened the day before after holidays. On a warm autumn day the town square was busy and although we were wearing very casual holiday attire we were warmly welcomed and given a central table. The decor... More

We really enjoyed our meal in this lovely restaurant, a couple of weeks ago! We chose the menu, and with coffee afterwards we counted 7 courses. All of them were very good, not too big, so that you could actually look forward to yet another course without feeling stuffed. The staff were very friendly and enthusiastic about their product, and... More

The food in Emilia Romagna is famous for its taste but this restaurant only relies on butter! The portions are VERY small - one of the four degustations was served in a cup and the... More
