Wonderful little place

We booked a table for 8 o'clock on a saturday night we were given a table outside but it was covered and heated, we also had a blanket each if needed. It was a lovely atmosphere and we could see the Christmas lights on the "piazza del popolo" which made the evening even more magical. We were going... read more

This place was such an unexpected find! It was amazing to be able to sample small portions of local food while sitting on the patio people watching- all for a very affordable price. A very small venue, all the tables had been reserved but because we came early the owner welcomed us. We had three tasty little samplings of gnocchi... More

If you want to sample the best of the local culinary specialities without overdoing it this is the place to visit. If you go for the aperitivo you will be presented with a succession of delicious and substantial appetizers accompanied by your choice of some lovely local wines. Each 'course' was attractively presented and the sum total amounted to a... More

My husband and I enjoyed a perfect lunch at this tiny little restaurant. The waitress was warm, welcoming and spoke English very well. She made a couple suggestions for food and wine. Everything was delicious and very affordable.

We were initially impressed by the quality of the wine and food but when we asked for the same again the waitress brought different dishes which despite repeated asking the price of turned out to be much more costly than we were led to believe. If you stick to the set menu then it's good value but beware straying off... More

We decided to go here for lunch on the strength of the TripAdvisor reviews and very glad that we did so. We had a glass of verdicchio each and waited in anticipation for the food. First of all was a selection of the local olive all'ascolana - very nice, then came three small and interesting dishes - excellently and quirkily... More

fabulous wines, one we tried was a local 2008. Wonderful. Aperitvo excellent and olives best we had. One of the staff spoke English very well and made us feel welcome. Four glasses of good wine, a plate of meats and bread plus two lots of their local speciality and two other types of tapas dishes came to €20. Highly recommended.

The place is really small, and service is provided by two nice and welcoming barmaidens. They handle and serve home-made food, with stylish aspect. I just tried the area-famous "olive all'ascolana" and they were really good. The green cannelloni had an amazing look, a pity I did not tried...

Nice little place with little snacks/food (for us enough for dinner) with great taste! And, we had two wine, nice different tapas and a plate with different meats, for only 16 euro. Very good for a nice price!
