A bit chaotic but food was amazing, and a beautiful setting. Beef with rosemary was one of my top 10 beef dishes of all time. Just don't ask for Pizza, as the table next to us did :-)

Especially for those who have already been in "God's Country" (at least one of them), superlatives are hard to come by. We have been to la Vecchia Rota many times and the food is Lways great and consistent . Massimo the owner is fantastic explain the menu to you in his fantastic a bit rustic English. The place is part or the slow food so take your time and enjoy your meal!
