Had to chance to discover this - not easy to find - small cosy, friendly and well run by owner Alessandro. He gets out of his way, just to serve you the best catch of the day from the local fishermen. Menu suggests superb antipasti and first courses, with great tasty pastas with or without fish. Relax, take off your watch you enjoy this piece of seaport heaven in Italy. After walking the beachfront and streets, Punto d'Anzio replenished our stomachs, minds and spirits. We found the pace to be just what we needed and the wine to be delightful in contrast to other posts. It's Italy. The house Italian table wine was fine.

I was slightly skeptic about this restaurant after reading the reviews. However, my experience confirmed the great ratings of the restaurant. The food is excellent!, only the “catch of the day” is used so the menu vary with the success of the fishermen. The antipasto was plentiful and very good, the pasta well cooked and great tasting.
