A good foodie friend of ours recommended Osteria dell Arco and we looked forward to our last dinner in Alba. Granted, it was a Monday night following an exceptionally busy truffle festival weekend and I'm sure the staff was looking forward to little more relaxed paced, but ... we kept things light, ordered the tasting of 3 typical appetizers to... The Osteria takes a bit of finding in a little courtyard off the Piazza Savona and we wandered in at about mid-day to make a booking either for that evening or the next - full for both but they could take us for lunch. So we stayed in what looked to be a classic tradtional trattoria or osteria - plain... More

Offers good selection of Alba typical plates. The plates are OK. You feel like in a factory: sit down, look at menu, order, get the plates fast, eat, pay and get out!

We went for a dinner (just me and my husband) and was our last night in Italy. We was tired needing a comfort food. We eat a gnocchi with tomato sauce, a pasta with truffles and a kind of raw meat. It was ok. Nothing special.

i visited various times in the last 15 years...it is always great, perfect wine list, prices moderate and fine dinning is given. The Osteria del Arco was one of the first and still is one of the best. Normal Piemonte food ...in a great atmosphere.....

Had a nice meal at this slow food recommended restaurant. Atmosphere was quiet and inviting. The meal was excellent and paired perfectly with the sommelier recommended wine. Excellent local wine list and a nice diversified menu. Everyone enjoyed there evening! We didn't have a reservation and we still managed to get a table as it was pretty quiet.

My husband and I went here upon a recommendation from our hotel. It's a good atmosphere in the osteria, they don't have an English menu, but we received good help with translation of the menu. The food came in an ok pace and they paid us good attention. We had prosciutto & abergine for a starter - both lovely! Followed... More

We recently enjoyed a superb meal here. We had four courses from the set menu costing 32 euros, an aubergine, tomato millefeuille, gnocchi, veal, and pannacotta cotta. The restaurant was full of locals. Slow food at its very best. The local restaurant everyone would like as their own.

Had both the best Sicilian prawns and rabbit ever. Slow food at its best. Great Barolo. Staff seemed a bit tired but warmed up through the evening.
