The food was beautiful to look at and tasted so delicious, especially the hazelnut cake and ice cream which was heavenly! We loved it! Excellent service, the staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful.

Ok, so firstly please dispel any ideas of this being a mini Piazza Duomo. In my opinion too much is made of its links to the 3 star restaurant up stairs. This should be taken on its own merits That being said The food was very good and has a great view over the main square in Alba Crisp clean... More

As stated in other reviews multiple times, the 3 star restaurant is above this restaurant (on the first - european - floor). Central location in Alba, you can sit inside, we were sitting in the "veranda" outside - air conditioned -, with nice view on the Cathedral. Service is great, friendly, multi-lingual, and very efficient. Food is great, and so... More

The perfect trattoria... all what I had was perfectly made, tasteful and well presented. The service is friendly and informal, still very efficient and effective. Prices are not too cheap for the kind of establishment, but hey, this is a trattoria run by a three-star Michelin Chef. Would gladly go back.

We enjoyed the "outdoor" dining area, which was actually glassed in, affording warmth as well as a great view of the town's activity.

In the very heart of Alba, I was a little scared before entering as it seemed to me a tourist trap. We ate in the veranda, looking onto the main square. It was a very nice experience, the quality of the food was excellent and the regional products were respected with elegance. The waiters were attentive and welcoming. The final... More

This restaurant offers a limited menu but expect every item to be exquisite! Set below one of the greatest (and most expensive) restaurant in Italy - Piazza Duomo, it offers 2 large dining rooms and a veranda onto the Piazza Duomo (scenic). Rather original. First off, amazing and kind staff. Attentive to our needs and always helpful. Second, traditional menu... More

Terrific place for a casual lunch in Alba, overlooked by the cathedral. This is the sister restaurant to the more famous (and expensive) Michelin starred Piazza Duomo.

You cannot be mistaken is the same kitchen of the restaurant upstairs Il Duomo 3 stars Michelin. Of course the difference is more the simplicity of the plates compared to the other, but the base is the same different atmosphere can be family oriented and much less expensive. The owner a great producer of wines.Bingo you have everything.Very good

La Piola's location can't be beat - and the food is something special. They really let the ingredients shine with simple and classic Piedmontese dishes. The menu is not MASSIVE but everything we tasted was good. Also saw a few plates coming out that looked off-menu, so be sure to ask what else might be possible (and keep your eyes... More
