The night we dined at Dulcis Vitis seating was in the courtyard, not indoors. We were greeted and served by Bruno who possesses a delightfully wry sense of humor. He brought a plate of bread out that he explained was baked on premises. We tried not to eat it all because we didn't want to fill up before our meal... More

Charming small restaurant chef/owner Bruno is charming and helpful. No need to read menu, just chat with him about what you like and he will make suggestions. We were there on a Tuesday night and he had plenty of time to help us. Everything tasted great. It was black truffle season and I had homemade pasta with truffles and a... More

We were welcomed into the elegant dining room by a warm and burly man who turned out to be the chef, Bruno Cingolani. The dining room has white linens, lots of silverware, candles and live orchids for extra panache. After ordering our meal, we were served an interesting amuse bouche of baccala (salt cod), little globs mixed with potato and... More

The restaurant had great reviews in a travel guide we bought, but was really disappointing in terms of atmosphere, service and food quality. VERY traditional dishes mediocre at best

This restaurant belongs to the Chef Bruno that is known as one of the best in Alba. I've been there several times and each one is better than the other. The servisse is very nice and the food is traditional Italian cuisine, very well prepared by the Chef. The restaurant is in the heart of Alba and there during season... More

We had dinner here in a big group and nevertheless everything was perfect. The chef Bruno was very attencious and spent time explaining the courses. It was great, tasty, and delicious food from the starters until the dessert. The atmosphere is very cozy. A decent wine list with wines from the region. Nice and cozy atmosphere! It is definitely a... More

We were three people for lunch on Saturday, October 18th, 2013, during the very busy Alba white truffle festival. We had not made plans for lunch far enough in advance, and this was the sixth or seventh place our hotel tried to book for us. I later understood why we were able to get a table. When we arrived it... More

Come here in the off -season during a weekday. The great thing about this place is the contact with the staff, especially the chef who is quite a character. I started with a glass of Arneis and some amuse bouche of spinach frittata which was excellent. The mixed lettuces with fresh artichoke hearts and herbs needed more lemon but was... More

3 courses with a glass of wine was €80. The food was mediocre at best. I'd much rather eat at Enolab or Lalibera, both of which would cost half as much. Little wonder why only 3 tables on a busy Sat night. Not going back even if you drag me by my hair!
