Just visited this traditional Italian Restaurant - just like a scene from that famous movie. Decorated in 1950s Brooklyn, but busy and buzzy. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and assisted with the menu. I luckily spotted rabbit on the menu which of course I ordered. It was as good as expected and our other main fish was seafood... More

The food although typical was not good. The night we were there a soccer game was on tv and what appeared to be a mens club were so loud the meal was not enjoyable.

Lovely old fashioned Italian restaurant with a friendly ambiance. We tried the mixed fish Antipasto, tasty and interesting to the taste buds. The main fish dishes and the pesto were excellent. Enjoyable meal.

Typical Ligure home made meals, with an international and modern touch! Fantastic atmosphere, very good place in general.

Very good cuisine, from Ligurian tradition: "pasta al pesto", fish, metà, very fresh salades. Yet the staff is rather unpolite, hurried: it doesn't seem able to make you feel at home.

Trattoria I Matetti is the place to go if you are in Alassio and want to meet Italians and not only the tourists at sea side. The menu is in local dialect but is available translated to the main languages. The food is abundant and tasty. Come early and remember to book a table. My vote was about to be... More

I was taken here by a local, who pre warned me about the attitude of the waiters.... It was quite funny to see them. When they realised she was local and I was not, they brought me things to try whilst she tried to translate. The Ligurian food was amazing. The meet was just incredible. The fish was amazing.. You...
