Very good local fare at very affordable prices. Fresh seafood and good service with a nice view located on Via Atenea.

Just arrived in Agrigento and spotted this restaurant with a lovely outside terrace with super views across the bay and we asked for a table for a late lunch. We started with a platter of mixed meats. The contents were fine but a very small portion for €9.00 literally a couple of slices of each meat and pecorino cheese. Followed... More

This is the perfect example of a Lonely Planet recommendation that hasn't gone to management's head. That is a rare occurence in our experience. The restaurant is very busy and you'll probably have to wait for your table even if you have a reservation (as we did). However, the staff never lets you feel forgotten. They check in and apologize... More

Excellent food. They didn't have Spaghetti carbonate on their Menu and it was not a problem for them to make some for us. It was superb! The Antipasto Rustico is a authentic Sicilian dish with all the best Sicily can offer. As piatto secondo I had two superb cooked Octopuses. The prices are acceptable, not cheap but not too expensive.... More

I want to share my best experience about this restaurant. I went because of recommendation of Lonely planet and we remained so happy...Extremely good moules, octopus, tagliata di tonno con rucola e arance, semifreddo di mandorle...Their food could be served in paradise. Honest people. Good wine. It's a pity that i do not know when i could visit them again... More

As a single poor student the price of 1 cup of pasta was 17 dollars was too expensive for my budget. If I spend $17 I want a life changing 1 cup of pasta.

I had swordfish and my wife had minestrone both of which were beautifully cooked. The staff were very accommodating and helped our 10 year old choose a meal she would enjoy. Well situated near our B&B and just off the main drag.

The person on the desk at our B and B recommended this restuarant and it was great. Straight down the cobbled Via Atenea from our hotel, when we arrived we saw the restaurant was undercover but open, and had amazing ocean views so we were wishing we ahd got there for sunset. Run by a really lovely family, it s... More

Agrigento is a strange place, 'cause after the Valle dei Templi you would expect everything to be magnificient, unfortunately the city centre is expectations blower.... with an exception: this restaurant. We spent a couple of hours there and we enjoyed everything we ordered: - the Caponata is just amazing: fresh aubergines, home-made, not too spicey... a must have. - the... More

I feel the place is a victim of its own success. They simply can not cope with the amount of people they attract and a good share of the people gets lousy service and dull food. Others might have a better experience but chances are high you are in the first group. 2 couples left while we were there, as... More
