The best meal we had in Sicily - an imaginative and unusual menu, beautifully presented and perfectly cooked Sicilian food, unobtrusive oversight of our choices by the elegant lady owner, chef and other staff friendly and helpful, good local wines. Couldn't have been better. Would go back to Agrigento just to eat here.

We were recommended to visit by our hotel. What a charming place, wonderful staff. The chef came and explained the menu to us in English. We thoroughly enjoyed all our dishes. A nice neighbourhood setting worth a visit.

Excellent local cuisine in a traditional, unpretentious setting. Excellent service by family members. Noteworthy dishes included a seafood carpaccio, Nero d'Avola pasta and aubergine soufflé. Definitely worth a visit to an interesting area of Agrigento.

We went to La Posata for lunch. The food was very good. We had vegetarian risotto and pasta with sardines. Fresh salad was served beside. All fresh and tasty. Service was good and friendly and prices was very fair.

Subtle and beautiful food with the delicious Pina as hostess...REAL food!!! Pasta limone was divine and the caponata the best we had... Highly recommended!

In the lovely town of Agrigento, we stumbled over this serious and well kept traditional restaurant. We dined two evenings in a row, enjoying tender veal and fish, both times served with gentle and personal personnel. The restaurant has a family touch to it, situated at a piazza with Italian families coming together in the evening. We would like to... More

We had two evenings in Agrigento and came here for the first night! The owners were so delightful, the food was beyond spectacular and the setting was perfect. We loved it so much we came back the next night. I would recommend this spot for excellent food, priced right and a wonderful ambiance.

tucked away in the corner of Piazza Cavour, this traditional restaurant offers old style elegance, a warm welcome and excellent food. It was one of our favourite restaurants during a two week stay in Sicily.

We had a nice meal here after visiting the temples. The menu is focused on seafood. We had bruschetta and Casa Santa a sicilia Cabernet wine. I had pasta with finely ground pistachios sprinkled over it. It was a 10 minute cab ride from villa Athena on a hill by a square/courtyard. The staff was very friendly and let me... More

Old fashioned restaurant with great food and very nice service. Despite our poor italian language skills, we could ask and get advice on the various dishes. The food was great, nice taste and well presented. Reasonable prices. Highly recommended !
