As other reviewers attest this is a great little place. The food is intensely flavoured and cooked with care and great skill. The result is as delicious as you'd want it to be. This is family cooking rather than haute cuisine, but the flavour dial is turned right up. Really delicious and a very friendly welcome as well. We recommend... More

We decided to take a chance and try dinner even though we did not have a reservation and I am so glad we did! We arrived just as the restaurant was opening and we were fortunately accommodated. This chance meal turned out to be a fantastic culinary experience!! It is truly a family affair mother, father and daughter working in... More

We were in Sicily for our wedding anniversary, and by chance we found this marvellous restaurant, next to our B&B "La finestra sulla valle"... The best food we ate during our Sicily travel... The chef had a special menu created by himself: delicious, yummy, harmonically designed food, that we can never eat anywhere else... Sweets were also incredible...The owners and... More

Exceptional produce and beautifully presented & cooked. The hosts were so patient in explaining the meals and recommending dishes. The Lardo di Colonnata, spaghetti Nero d'avola, tuna tartare, stuffed squid and veal were are mouth watering and the recommended Shiraz was smooth and really reasonably priced well under 20 Euro we'd pay 4 times more in Aust. Having travelled from... More

The best meal we had in Sicily - an imaginative and unusual menu, beautifully presented and perfectly cooked Sicilian food, unobtrusive oversight of our choices by the elegant lady owner, chef and other staff friendly and helpful, good local wines. Couldn't have been better. Would go back to Agrigento just to eat here.

We were recommended to visit by our hotel. What a charming place, wonderful staff. The chef came and explained the menu to us in English. We thoroughly enjoyed all our dishes. A nice neighbourhood setting worth a visit.

Excellent local cuisine in a traditional, unpretentious setting. Excellent service by family members. Noteworthy dishes included a seafood carpaccio, Nero d'Avola pasta and aubergine soufflé. Definitely worth a visit to an interesting area of Agrigento.

We went to La Posata for lunch. The food was very good. We had vegetarian risotto and pasta with sardines. Fresh salad was served beside. All fresh and tasty. Service was good and friendly and prices was very fair.
