We came here for lunch between seeing the Valley of the Temples and the archaeological museum. If you have your own car it's an easy short drive and a pleasant atmosphere (with spotless bathrooms) for lunch. Salads and pastas were all tasty, service was prompt and friendly. It offered more variety and better quality this the cafe at the ruins.

The service was excellent! Attentive, but not overbearing. The food we had was delicious. We had a frutti di mare antipasto which was divine! The octopus special wasn't our favorite as it was bland, but the fried shrimp and calamari was very tender.

We did not realize that a traditional Mediterranean restaurant means 80 percent fish, but it does at this place. The Sicilian antipasti was very good. The pasta with pink shrimp and tomatoes was excellent as was the veal piccata . Their homemade pistachio ice cream was a dream. Totally casual

Very tasty dishes, excellent pasta, good fish and amazing dessert, however the service can be hit or miss otherwise this could be a fantastic place!

the restaurant has a very pretty traditional feel about it but on the night we were there was almost empty. I chose the fettuccine all'aragosta.I am not sure i got what i ordered since the pasta was definitely not fettuccine but it was pleasant enough. house wine was unexceptional. All desserts appeared to be bought in the night we were... More

The best risotto in Sicilia ! So good we went back the next day. Convenient parking on the street outside and saves going into town if you don't want to (we were staying nearby). Will definately return as we will come back to the temples one day and in the meantime I will dream of the perfect risotto :-)

I would like to balance the negative comment about the way one reviewer was treated when they ordered a simple, light meal without wine. We did exactly the same, and were shown the utmost courtesy by the manager and the staff. They brought us just what we wanted that day: pasta in tomato sauce, and a mushroom risotto. Both dishes... We had been looking at the temple valley and needed a place for lunch with 2 somewhat fussy child eaters. This restaurant filled the bill perfectly with an excellent menu and delicious house wine. Highly recommended!

We were underway from Agrigento to Syracuse but wanted a good lunch after the visit to the temples from Agrigento. We found this place based on the Guide Micheling and decided to give it a chance. Even though it was almost 2.30PM they were glad to have us and very friendly. My wife had clams with green aspergus and I... More
