If you like seafood. This is it

We did not realize that a traditional Mediterranean restaurant means 80 percent fish, but it does at this place. The Sicilian antipasti was very good. The pasta with pink shrimp and tomatoes was excellent as was the veal piccata . Their homemade pistachio ice cream was a dream. Totally casual

Very tasty dishes, excellent pasta, good fish and amazing dessert, however the service can be hit or miss otherwise this could be a fantastic place!

the restaurant has a very pretty traditional feel about it but on the night we were there was almost empty. I chose the fettuccine all'aragosta.I am not sure i got what i ordered since the pasta was definitely not fettuccine but it was pleasant enough. house wine was unexceptional. All desserts appeared to be bought in the night we were... More

The best risotto in Sicilia ! So good we went back the next day. Convenient parking on the street outside and saves going into town if you don't want to (we were staying nearby). Will definately return as we will come back to the temples one day and in the meantime I will dream of the perfect risotto :-)

I would like to balance the negative comment about the way one reviewer was treated when they ordered a simple, light meal without wine. We did exactly the same, and were shown the utmost courtesy by the manager and the staff. They brought us just what we wanted that day: pasta in tomato sauce, and a mushroom risotto. Both dishes... We had been looking at the temple valley and needed a place for lunch with 2 somewhat fussy child eaters. This restaurant filled the bill perfectly with an excellent menu and delicious house wine. Highly recommended!

We were underway from Agrigento to Syracuse but wanted a good lunch after the visit to the temples from Agrigento. We found this place based on the Guide Micheling and decided to give it a chance. Even though it was almost 2.30PM they were glad to have us and very friendly. My wife had clams with green aspergus and I... More

The food was OK. Swordfish was uninspiring. Ordered side of potatoes and the potatoes at the bottom of the plate were still frozen. If you are staying at the Colleverde hotel at the top of the hill, be sure to eat there. The food was wonderful at dinner.

They made us feel as if they did not want us there. We had been looking at temples all day in the sun and we wanted a light meal without alcohol. Perhaps they did not like us because we were not spending enough money? Perhaps they do not like English speaking people? What we had - pasta, risoto and grilled... More

This is a very good seafood restaurant. Try the Sicilian vegetable antipasta for starters, it's self service, and very tasty. Prices for the seafood dishes are very reasonable, and the staff were very helpful - especially as we speak no Italian whatsoever.
