Nice restaurant - very busy

Well worth a visit, on the edge of the old town. There was a good choice of Sicilian food, and the quality was all very good. Service was also fine. Bearing in mind that this was out of season, I would think that booking would be essential during busier periods. Recommended

We traveled from Southern Italy to Eastern Sicily and then to Agrigento. This restaurant best represented the change in diet. Here we met saffron, raisins, pine nuts and cous cous. The food here is wonderful. I highly recommend.

The food was ok but not outstanding, however the most disappointing aspect of this restaurant was the indifference of the staff to our existence. One of the waiters walked away mid conversation, other staff looked unhappy as if they didn't want to be there and this chilled the entire room where we tourists were quartered (locals were seated in the... This restaurant was highly recommended by our B&B host for tasting the traditional Sicilian food. She even gave us what not to miss. We ordered the following to share among two of us, two antipasti: Tornino di melanzane (it's like an eggplant parmigiana served in a pastry shell) and Insalata di Baccala' e arance (reconstituted salted cod and orange salad),... Recommended by our B&B proprietor. There were indeed some Italian patrons who appeared to be regulars, but they sit in a separate section around the corner at the back, and all the tourists are seated at the front. Spaghetti alla gattopardo (spaghetti bake with tomato and eggplant) - 7€: Good, similar to what you'd get in a good rosticceria Involtini... More

I am Sicilian and I could not be happier to bring a friend from oversea and find a place where they cook amazing sicilian food, in a quite traditional way but adding some twist. Do not miss the desserts. When I asked if they were all home made they answered: "All but the Pistachio cous cous... that is made by... More

We were directed here by our B&B proprietor and are glad we were. The wild boar pasta, mentioned before, is magnificent and the ravioli stuffed with goat's cheese also. Service was smooth and quiet and our waiter kept a good eye on all his tables - no long waits. Needs a sign in Via Garibaldi to point to the actual... More

My wife and I shared typical Sicilian dishes including excellent wild boar pasta a mixed grill of various pork meats, salad and canoli for dessert..a nice bottle of wine, water and a grappa for €52. The service was quite good considering two servers worked a fairly large number of tables.

I had a lunch here; a glass of prosecco(sparkling wine), a mix salad, and pasta. The pasta was "Busiate al pesto siciliano", they said it was a typical Sicilian taste. Pistachio powder was on it. Very creamy and tasty. Outside table had a nice view. Staff were friendly and service were great. I can recommend here:-)
