Nice italian restaurant

We had a very nice family lunch here when we made our daytrip to Acqui Terme. The kitchen was a bit slow and the restaurant itself is quite small so if you are coming with a larger group make it sure, that you reserve a table.

After staying 2 weeks near Acqui Terme and having some amazing food experiences, this was the only place that dissappointed, and in a BIG way. A menu with a curry pasta or risotto made with Basmati rice??? should have been a warning and we should have left. The antipasto misti was dried up frittata and the rest deep fried stuff... More

The octopus potato starter was mainly potato chunks in a PLASTIC pot heated in the microwave. Disgusting. The black pasta with tomato and zucchini was oily, tasteless and overcooked. I left most of it untouched. The fish ravioli with garlic and parsly my husband ordered looked prefabricated and ordinary. He ate it because he was hungry. I refuse to eat... More

We were fortunate to get one of the last tables and then there were people waiting after us - a good sign. We creally liked the atmosphere, exposed brick and nice lighting. The service was very good despite being full. The food was good (not excellent) with an interesting menu and a good wine list. It has a bit of... More

It felt like we were the only British visitors in Acqui Terme and it was tricky to find a restaurant open on a thursday night in late October. Nevertheless even though we were the only customers, we had a warm welcome and a lovely meal. The antipasti was particularly good. If we ever return we will go back without fail.
