A surprisingly good seafood restaurant

The reason I stayed in Abano Terme wasn't a typical one. I'm leaving tomorrow and I haven't used the thermal baths though I have stayed in a five stars hotel with all the right facilities to do so. I needed a good hotel near Padova for my cooking classes. My only day off for from the classes was... read more

Hello everyone, We came to the restaurant due to the good reviews on tripadvisor. The goal was to avoid a pizzeria for once. We arrived on 8 oclock and we got the luck to get a table without reservation (we saw in two hours about ten persons being refused because of the lack of place). I imagine this restaurant is... I returned to Abano Terme last week as part of my annual Christmas tour of Central Europe and was amazed again at Restaurant La Scala by the unbelievable freshness and quality of their seafood. While in town for three days, I ate at La Scala for both lunch and dinner and enjoyed delicious raw shrimp, baby clams casino, grilled shrimp,... More

LaScala is a refreshing alternative to heavy pasta and pizza. The seafood is delectable and prepared with attention to quality and natural flavors. I will return everytime I visit Abano! Please open a restaurant in San Diego!!!

La Scala is a fish restaurant. There are no meat options on the menu. The atmosphere is great, the service perfect. Our wine was not cold enough and they chilled it and only charged for two glasses, rather than the whole bottle. The black spaghetti with crab was delicious.

Beeing on Abano Terme for vacation was a very nice experience. But the most loving atmospher was beeing with Linda & Diego the owners of this wonderful Restaurant. The food was delicious. I have no words to prescribe.... Excellent I really felt like beening home.

I visit AbanoTerme several times a year and never miss an opportunity to eat seafood at La Scala where I adore the tender raw crayfish, pink shrimp from Sardinia, scallops, mussels, lobster, octopus, and, of course, all sorts of fresh fish, all of which can be prepared either grilled, baked, browned or other accompanied with vegetables, in pasta or as... Had a disappointing and overpriced dinner. Paid over 200 euros for 3 persons. Went there on trip advisor recommendations but would not recommend it personally.
