I arrived very hungry. Didn't know it was famous because of Clanad and Enya. I found that out when I stepped inside. There were lots silver and gold records on the walls. Its a beautiful place inside and the music was very nice I think it was Clanad. The staff very nice and chatty. Service reasonably quick as well. I... More

Leo's is a renowned place in Donegal for music and has lots of visitors due to the fact it is the family home of the Brennan's of Clanad and Enya. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the music evenings great fun. Unfortunately the food is pretty terrible. There is no excuse- it has a lot of people passing... More

I was wary about going to the home of Enya's father as the flier our B&B had said, "Tour buses welcome!" but when we arrived there were no other tourists, just a bunch of locals eating dinner. The service was wonderful pub grub, especially the seafood, was top notch. They were having live music later than night and someone's birthday... More

I've visited Leo's with my friends a couple of times during recent visits to Donegal. It's a nice wee place with good live music. Recommended.

Went to Leo's recently in order to rekindle some positive childhood memories of previous trips to Donegal however was left greatly disappointed with my experience. Ordered 2 drinks at a moderately busy bar and waited 2 minutes for 1 to arrive and 20minutes for the other to be left at the other side of the counter and no mention of... More

Dear Febstar4, Really sorry to hear that your visit to Leos Tavern wasn't a pleasant one. That your drinks were not served immediately is a training issue and one we are continually working on improving The food is a real surprise. We have a new chef and the vast majority of people are raving about his food. I do wish... More

We went to Leo's last night for the monthly Club Beo music event. The meal was fantastic, thanks to the new Malaysian chef Thomas. Followed by a night of superb local music talent. Great night.

Thank you for your review DavCot. We are very happy to welcome our new Head Chef, Thomas. Most importantly, his excellent food is being very well received by our customers. Dear OBBO_13 thank you for your review. The Bus Tours (to which you referred) and their patrons, travel great distances to see the bar and Clannad memorabilia . I'm sorry it wasn't to your liking. Delighted you enjoyed your meal. regards, Cameron More

We went out of our way to visit Leos on the recommendation of family and friends and the hotel staff, we were disappointed as the place was not serving food, was cold and despite being informed of live music there was none.

Hi. Sorry that your experience at Leos wasn't great. We are definitely a seasonal pub and food/music is part of our core business. December is a very quiet month apart from the last week. More
