Beautiful lakeside restaurant with bilingual staff (English & French). We produce fresh, homemade and original food in a relaxed and informal setting. All of our clients agree that we are worth the drive off the beaten track for lunch or an evening meal to remember! Close to Mont St Michel and the American cemetery at St James.

Went for dinner with friends on Saturday and boy! What a time we had. Fabulous food, great setting and such a wonderful atmosphere. There Was entertainment on Saturday that obviously helped create a such a great atmosphere. We ate, we sung, we laughed and I can't wait to go back next time we're in France visiting our friends. Can't recommend... More

Visited this lunchtime and was warmly welcomed. Seated by the window with the lake in perfect view, we enjoyed the 3 course lunch for €15.50. Onion bhajis to start, steak seasoned and cooked to perfection, fish in chip shop batter with mushy peas for the other half, and a divine sticky toffee pudding for dessert. A short stroll around the... More

We rented a house in the nearby countryside, and the owner recommended that we try the Auberge. We were surpised and delighted at the warm and welcoming environment, the diverse menu, the garciousness of the hosts, and the quality of the food. It far exceeded our expectations, and I would definitely like to return.

We go to this restaurant a few times a year. We wish it was closer to where we live, we would be there all the time. The standard of the cuisine is exceptional. The staff are always welcoming and friendly and there are lovely walks, weather-permitting. We always try to take our summer visitors there for a delicious meal and... More

A real gem of a find, friendly staff and fantastic food. This Restaurant is tucked away but is well worth a visit. The quality of food is excellent and a good menu and daily choice. Their homemade pie was fantastic and there was always a good selection of fish and a lovely vegetarian dish. Never leave without having the homemade... More

The food here is very good. Auberge du Lac is in a little tiny place, with next to another around it, yet the restaurant is really very good. It is a British run place, but it appeals to as many french as british visitors. That must be a really hard thing to do, but they've done it at Auberge du... More

An english run restaurant, with a blend of english/ french cuisine. Good to see a mixture of english and french customers. Great food at a reasonable price.

We stopped here for lunch and had an absolutely delicious meal outside under the veranda. We were really looked after too and would definitely recommend it!
