Elegantly curved Omani arches make a dramatic first impression in this vaulted, crystal chandelier lit dining room with contemporary cool dark grey terrazzo floors, expansive bay windows on the gardens and live piano music. Four open show kitchens add entertainment and aromas as Muscat’s finest culinary talents prepare Western, Asian, Middle Eastern and Indian fare, best paired with sips off our award winning wine list. Dine as well on the outdoor patio or among equally chic private dining rooms with lounge areas that make memorable venues for business dinners, family gatherings and festive events

The Experience

Review: Lets get the obvious out of the way at the start, this is the Chedi, it's going to be pricey compared to other places, it is what it is. That said, you don't go to the Chedi just to eat, you go for the experience. Whether sitting inside or outside the Chedi is a place to eat very, very... read more

We enjoyed a business event with 30 people catered in a private room. A delicious variety of food served by helpful staff. We also ate breakfast in the main restaurant every morning and it was well set out, good service and pleasant settings indoor or outside.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Friday Brunch at The Restaurant last weekend. We opted to sit outside but had to move a few times during our lunch to avoid the sun, but still nicer than sitting inside. The brunch is well laid out and has good variety. What I especially like about their brunch is that yes, it is a brunch,... More

The location is definitely a city hotel, beautifully laid out grounds but very claustrophobic. The Terace Restaurant was in fact surrounded but the hotel buildings, so not really an open terrac The food was nicely presented but 'nothing to write home about'. The seafood Beach restaurant was in a beautiful setting but quite expensive. Unless you are on a business trip,... More

My wife and i traveled to around 20 countries together and been to uncountable restaurants from a street vendor all the way to Michelin class. This is by far our favorite. They have Indian, Asian, Arabic and European dishes and do all of them better than any restaurant we visited with a specialized menu. Try the indian fish curry, tandoor... More

We didn't plan to come for food at this place - just to take a look of the hotel and restaurant. When we arrived at the restaurant reception, the lady at the reception asked us if we were interested for Brunch (only on Friday). The person showed us the buffet lunch which was amazing. We decided to stay there for... More

This is the main restaurant at the Chedi hotel. They serve Arabic, Indian, Asian and Continental food along with some of the best steaks in Muscat. We ordered some chicken tikka to start with, followed by gnocchi and steak for our mains. The gnocchi here is amazing! The Restaurant also has a very extensive wine menu. My only little complaint...
