Whilst visiting Muscat we went with friends for lunch at the Chedi. The food was of an excellent quality & abundant. To start with we indulged in a dozen oysters, which were superb. Seeing as any sort of diet had clearly been put on the back burner, I chose the ribeye steak for my main. Not an inspired choice, I... More

The Chedi is a high quality Restaurant with a great view over the beach. Chrispy Foie Gras with homebaked bread as a starter was a fantastic experience. To main course I got a perfectly grilled Tuna with fresh salad. This lunch is one of the best ever. I will come back if I'm in the area. Congratulation to the whole... More

There is a very nice choice on the menu and the food in the restaurant is great quality and very well prepared :) we were just a little disappointed that it was not more reasonably priced :(

Nothing much to write here. The setting is quite particular. But service is slow, and prices are really expensive given the standard of the service and the sample portions.

ok forget prices and you will love the place. The service was a bit hectic on a Thursday night. Overall the experience was good. The staff looked a bit lost, but I think it was due to the business at the time we arrived. I thought we made a reservation 3 weeks prior but it was not there, nevertheless they... More

The architecture, presentation and service at the Chedi are stunning and the food - well, very good and, although expensive by Omani standards, not bad value when you consider what you might have to pay for a similar standard in London. I had a lovely Malaysian soup which seemed overpriced until I saw the two beautiful huge king prawns which... More

Nice ambience. Good food. Limited vegetarian options though but definitely authentic. Generous proportions. Pricing was on anticipated lines. Service was good. Polite and helpful. Evenings in winter are ideal for this place as it is situated near the shore. Visit and do Enjoy.

Super nice dinner during our stay in Chedi. The room to be a thousand and one nights with lots of creek and within various glass cubes where the chefs cook. I can only say that the chefs working perfect, which ultimately appears on the board is super. Service was always unruffled and friendly. Portions are more than ok. Superb wine... More

Yes the restaurant is expensive but the food is excellent and we found the service brilliant. We were staying in the hotel for 10 nights so spent most in the restaurant. Great service from Subash and we were prepared meals to our liking on most nights. A great wine list as well as a new menu. Can't wait to revisit.

Don't go to The Chedi If you re not prepared to spend money. It is most definitely expensive but I have never had a bad meal here. Huge choice of wines, menu is extensive and yet not overwhelmingly so. Perfect place for a romantic dinner especially when the Beach Retaurant is open in the winter months, or a dinner with... More
