The food here is very nice and the menu offers something for everyone. We ate here as we were staying at the hotel and so got to sample a big chunk of the menu. We did not have a bad meal, however, the restaurant is rather expensive. As a standalone restaurant, I would have no qualms but when this restaurant... More

Highlight of my stay at The Chedi. Fantastic mix of buffet and a la carte, all fresh and well prepared.

Having stayed at the Chedi in Chiangmai, we were keen to experience the Chedi Muscat. We had a lovely table outside, food was superior and once they wait staff understood we wanted a long lunch, they adjusted their style accordingly.

The Chedi is an amazing piece of architecture and the restaurant is within that category: What an amazing place ! But this is also valid for the rest of this restaurant, service is perfect and food is delicious. Menu is very original. It is divided between, Arabian, Asian, Indian and Western. But don't expect a standard dish, everything gets a... More

The restaurant in Chedi offers the most serene ambience in Muscat. It's better at night because the moody lighting really brings out the romantic in you. The choice of food and drinks is good but it is over pricey

Remarkable wine and drinks list, (best in Oman?), excellent food with well-trained and knowledgeable waiters. Pan fried foie gras very nice starter, impressive deserts, and their champagne mojito different and refreshing. Phillip on the piano make a good evening great!

The service along to the design and ambience is very nice. The food was generally dry though. Tried there 2 main courses, and I believe for the premium money value they charge they could have done much better.

I have always promoted the Chedi to have the best Nasi Goreng and having lived in Oman for nearly 20 years, have not found any better so far (Japango does give a good competition, I must admit). Unfortunately my recent visit with the family changed all that. The once delightful Nasi Goreng portion was made much smaller and overall quality... More
