I went chado at The Walk branch in the wave Muscat. Me and my friend were amazed by the long menu and the different variety of the tea. The staff was helpful and assist my friend to select his Blueberry Ice tea, while I preferred something I know the Indian Masalla tea. The order delivered in no time, It looks... More

Chado tea lounge is a great place for a good afternoon or evening tea. They offer a different assortment of tea flavours from all over the world, as well as some mini-snacks and pastries, not to mention juices and coffees. My pick is the Moroccan Fes tea which is an orange-flavoured tea. The indoor seating area is quite tiny, however... More

I only go there for tea with family and friends after a meal in nearby restaurants. Tip: choose 2-3 types of tea and tiny cups to share around, the best tea we tried is the white ambrosia.

This fabulous tea lounge is the best place to sample some of the world's finest teas. Some very rare blends (when available but not always, sadly) and some more well known, daily leaves. White tea, black tea, fruit tea, loose tea, tea bags and everything else that is 'tea' is for sale. This includes some terrific cups, saucers, tea pots... More

The different kinds of tea on the menu will fool you. Everything pretty much tastes the same. The ambience is somewhat nice, but the service is terrible. No professionalism whatsoever. I loved the different tea pots they had, but what's in them was water. I had to add big amounts of sugar just to taste whatever I was supposed to... More

A very peaceful, cool beachfront location under parasols if required. The service is pretty good and the selection of iced teas - of all interesting flavour! - is a particular highlight. The smoked salmon salad is fantastically tasty, although portion size is very small. Still, it's good value for money.

This was one of the two great culinary experiences I had in Oman. They have a nice view and a good variety of teas. The butterfly tea is interesting, and I also bought a nice crystal tea pot and warmer. The other great experience, if you are wondering, was Yemeni Mendi at a local restaurant outside of Misfat Al Abriyeen.

Beautifully situated next to the beach, this is a great place to stop and have a rest. Their outdoor seating area is very scenic and the area is definitely worth visiting. They carry a variety of exotic teas, including Thai butterfly (blue tea), and traditional teas from around the world. I recommend the ginger pear tea and the Persian tea.... More
