Sunday lunch great choice food and service excellent, food great value and great choice, would love to have tried dessert but too full. Lovely home made bread and cosy fire any disappointment that we couldnt stay longer. Well done to all.

My family and I ate here for a family birthday. Very friendly staff, great food and lots of choice on the menu. They also sell homemade biscuits/icecream etc which are definitely worth a try. Would recommend to friends

We chanced upon this lovely pub in Carrigaholt (thanks to Pat at the Post Office) while touring Ireland in September. Had a fabulous evening of seafood and craft beer. The seafood was absolutely beautiful and it was interesting to have a different craft beer to accompany each course. Everyone was so friendly and we felt like we were in the... More

A very nice friendly place to have dinner. The pub has the typical Irish atmosphere with very friendly and attentive staff. It's a warm and welcoming spot with a good varied menu. The food in my opinion is decent without being exceptionally good. You won't leave hungry or vowing never to return. Price wise much the same, not too heavy... More

A lovely place to have lunch or dinner in Carrigaholt. There's a lovely selection of fresh seafood at all times. Also the chowder is very good here and people travel for miles around to sample it.

We had a great weekend in Co. Clare recently and it was topped off with a dinner at the Long Dock. Really good fish. My Chowder was stunning, fish was really fresh. Lots of nice craft beers to enjoy. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and we spent as much time chatting as we did eating. Brilliant place, we'll... More

We have been here before and returned because we enjoyed ourselves so much when we last visited. The place was nice and snug on a cold windy day. The welcome was also warm. We ordered our Guinness while deciding what to eat. I opted for the Seafood Chowder which came with a basket of brown soda bread and butter. It... More

Had been to Loop Head earlier in the year for a quick break and really enjoyed it so headed back for a week in August as part of the "big" summer holiday. Had been recommended to eat here by another restaurant in Kilkee so rocked up one Thursday evening...great call! Was a little worries when we saw the size if... More

After a one week stay in Clare, we went to Long Dock for our last dinner of the vacation. It was hands down the best meal we had all week! The seafood was so fresh and deliciously prepared. The oysters are unbelievable! The cheese and garlic potato side is a meal in itself. The side salad was fresh and delicious.... More

We have friends locally who bring us here each time we visit the area. We have nicknamed it The Long Wait because of the terrible service. The food isn't any better. Huge menu - too big. Prices ok but food quality is hit and miss. Bathrooms always dirty and in bad need of upgrading. I hear they just won pub... More
