My wife and I eat in the long dock last weekend and we could not recommend it highly enough, a warm friendly welcome, great food, the fish was fantastic, served to us by charming efficient friendly staff, the place has a wonderful atmosphere, and it is very reasonably priced. We wii definitely be back.

Again we visited this restaurant and pleased that it was still serving food of a high standard. Portions are generous and well presented. But the staff are an added bonus, they are so friendly and welcoming, always a smile and a joke. We loved it here. Especially now that they also do their own bottles sauces and jams. having now... Had a very enjoyable lunch in this cosy old place, in company with new-found friends. Service was good, the fish pie excellent - the fact that I destroyed the roof of my mouth on the hot mash topping aside! Would definitely visit again.

We were actually driving by on the way to a local attraction, when we stopped to have a drink here. The food looked so good we actually drove back after the attraction just to eat here. We were not disappointed in any way, they do some wonderful seafood. There is also a little shop attached that sells some home baked... More

We fell into this lovely little pub after a long walk nearby, and ordered the seafood chowder for lunch. WELL! This chowder was truly ambrosia! We had never tasted anything quite so unctuous in all our lives! No wonder they have won awards for it! And their fish pie too, which we ordered on a return visit. An added bonus... More

We probably never would have stopped in Carrigaholt without the recommendation of our host at Innwood House in Kilrush. On the way back from Loop Head to Kilkee it was only a 3 km detour and well worth it. A very comfy old restaurant/pub with eight of ten daily specials including Cod, Haddock, Salmon and Scallops all right from local... More

The food here is fantastic. There are several menus available & each one has great variety. As you can imagine, being beside the sea, fish features a lot on the menu & as specials. The staff are friendly & efficient. We were fortunate enough to be able to sit outside on both occasions & enjoy the sunshine. Customers of Dolphinwatch... More
