Went here for mothers day May 2014. Must have bookings for Sunday lunch - this place is popular. Huge outdoor eating area that is mostly under cover, with views stretching north to Coohie Mudlo Island and south down the Canaipa Channel overlooking the bay islands. The hotel has a fun little play ground for kids and a busy bistro serving... More

Went with a friend on Sunday. Even though overcast and slightly rainy the views across the bay are still beautiful. The outdoor eating area is large but strangely they have only a small number of table to accommodate 2 or 4 people - most of the tables are set up for large groups. Having said this the area is well... More

Really nice view overlooking the bay. Went for lunch on a Friday. Very hungry as I hadn't eaten in the morning . Ordered the Neptune plate which is like a seafood platter . $25 which I thought was expensive compared to other places. Food arrived rather quickly. Well, what a disappointment to say the least. The flathead tails were soggy... More

I returned to Australia to visit family and we visited the Redlands Bay Hotel for some good food (we hoped) a great view and some conversations. We ordered our meals and we were then told it would be 40 minutes as they were busy, that is okay as you either have the choice of staying or leaving. After some drinks... More

I went for dinner with my family the flathead and chips were soggy the chicken was overcooked the salmon was overcooked. Considering a big place like Woolworths owns it they could afford to pick up their game. The house wine is always broken or empty. The wine list is awful and the service is very poor. I will not be... More

Use to go here all the time until the chef changed it all went down hill from there. Meals are hit and miss depending on who is cooking. Service staff are really good and friendly can't fault them. Shame about the food

Went for lunch to celebrate my husband's birthday. We waited forever for our meals and when my chicken parmagiana came out....it was raw! Disgusting:-( The manager did refund my meal...but I made the choice not to order anything else, so left feeling hungry! A very disappointing experience all round - we won't be going back.

I live near this hotel and have been about 8 times in the last year and it's dissapointing on so many fronts but unfortunately for me it's close!! We have stopped eating there as the food most of the time was poor. It would cost us about $60+ for two main meals, which you have to order and collect yourself... More

Sunday lunch, after the bride read a couple of reviews, sadly not on this site, chose this landmark pub a meal. Well I must say in the 12 or so years since I last visited things have changed and I dont think for the better. I not going to rag on the poorly designed structural changes, or the kids play... More

I am a local therefore I visit the pub quite regularly. They have a great trivia night on Wednesday nights but they have limited tables so it would be best to book in advance. Unfortunately the meals are average and overpriced. A number of times I have had to send my meal back because there was something wrong with it.... More
