Stayed at the hotel as a treat due to the price. Thought we would treat ourselves to dinner in the orangery. Very pricy but you pay for what you get. Best meal I've ever had. Scallops for starter with chateaubriand for main. I was to full to try dessert but they looked amazing. Service was brilliant nothing seems a problem... More

Thank you to everyone for making a celebratory meal something so special. From start to finish, wonderful, attentive service, delicious food and a beautiful setting. Particularly outstanding was the tarte tatin served with custard and caramel sauce which I cannot recommend highly enough for anyone with a sweet tooth. I will hopefully be back to relive the experience sometime soon!

I came here with my mum for her birthday. I found the wine list extensive which had something for any meal. Warm bread is served with a delicious soup to get you started. I short, the service was fantastic, meal delicious! It was above average prices but the services and extras you receive make it worth it. I REALLY COULDN'T... More

Came here for a birthday treat for afternoon tea. Wow, great surroundings, Debbie our waitress, was attentive, and very friendly, and informative. The tea was wonderful, lots of good things to eat, sandwiches, mini quiches, macaroons, trifle, savoury and sweet scones, the latter with clotted cream and jam. Chocolate eclairs, lemon meringue pies, and sticky toffee sponges. All washed down... More

Had a family celebration dinner in the Sequoia Room and the food and service were excellent. Staff were super and made time to make the children feel welcome, which is important.

A group of work colleagues attended The Orange as part of a hen day. The table was booked for 1.30pm for 18 of us. Dispute this booking it was after 1.45pm before we were taken to the table and well after 2.30pm before any food was served. As a Coeliac I was disappointed with the gluten free option in it's... I had read the reviews before booking the table for my husbands 30th birthday and while I had my reservations, most of the reviews were positive. The hall is beautiful and the staff were polite and helpful. The food was ok. I probably would have enjoyed it a little more had there not been over an hour wait between starter... More

We have recently enjoyed both lunch and afternoon tea at the Orangery and it is safe to say this is one of the finest dining experiences anywhere in the country. Staff are excellent as is everything about the place. Super surroundings and fantastic, first class food.
