A truly good restaurant. Very friendly staff (owners?) and great food. The seafood starters were fresh and truly excellent. The main courses were well balanced and highly satisfying. Nice deserts ended a fine evening. A must if in Carcés.

Froday, 5 Sept 2014 we had dinner with a befriended French couple in this special small restaurant. We were warmly welcomed and on request the owner showed us around in his nice establishment. Because of the very fine wheather we choose to have dinner on their terras. All of us selected a fish/gamba meal. We were pleasantly surprised with the... More

For the last night of our holidays, on a Sunday, five of us went for what we hoped would be a nice traditional French meal. What we got was one of the worst meals I've ever had and the rudest, most unimaginable response from the staff I've ever experienced in France. We ordered an array of starters and mains which... Excellent local fresh food, local wines and unusual friendly and pleasant service for a reasonable price. Original decor and layout. Highly recommend.

We arrived when they opened at 7pm. The staff were very welcoming and nice! We were alone the first 30 minutes, before other guests started to arrive. We both ordered the duck, and a bottle of red wine. They didn't speak a word of english, but were very eager and good at communicating. The food came quickly and tasted wonderful!... More

Having looked on Trip Advisor for a place to go for Sunday Lunch we chose this restaurant from its reviews and we were'nt disappointed. Don't be put off by the appearance of the entrance to the restaurant, go on through to the Cave down stairs which had an excellent ambiance. The lighting was low and with the purple feature lights... You will recieve a warm welcome at this restaurant opened in April 2012. the portions are rather large so be cautious in choosing starters and main courses. The wine list is well balanced and reasonable.
