This was the best burger ever!! I had a vegetarian and my partner had the lamb. It was massive I mean massive! The tastiest burger ever and I'm fussy. After hiking the able Tasman all day this was the perfect end. Its a cool wee caravan and a few scattered picnic tables with a giant hanging tui sculpture. I will... More

This has the best lambburger I have ever eaten. The portions are very large. The fries are also good. Go with a big appetite.

Seriously great burgers (and Kumera fries too!) And reasonably priced with great atmosphere too. I'd definitely recommend it.

We really enjoyed this dinner, so good, freshly made burgers and wedges. Long queue but it was worth to wait! Didn't get table because it was really crowded but the evening got bit cold anyway so we took the food with us and ate beside the beach. I can truly recommend! :)

The very best burgers ever. Freshly made, excellent salad fillings, great choice of chicken, fish or vegetarian and they are huge. Chips are great too as is everything else we have had over many years and frequent visits. Long may it continue.

After a full day of hiking at Abel Tasman we were ready for a burger. Fat Tui had just what we wanted. Their burger menu is very creative. The presentation is colorful and beautiful. I had the Muss, which is a burger patty made of local mussels. They add fresh vegetables and delicious sauces. They also offer veggie burgers. This... More

Bouyed by my TripAdvisor research, I expected great things from this burger van when we visited over Easter. We looked forward to it on our long trek through the utterly gorgeous Abel Tasman park, and collapsed gratefully on the picnic tables after placing our order. It wasn't very full. We discovered later that everyone was basked in the garden at... More

Fat Tui was about the only option in town in the shoulder season on a late weekday afternoon, what a great surprise. Fabulous food, the best veggie burger I've ever eaten. All the food was great, friendly staff and comfortable location. We all loved it. Definately worth a visit.
