The Fat Tui offers excellent, massive burgers! I had "The Muss" an mussel patty with garlic aoli, tartar sauce, onions, carrots, avocado and red onion. The menu features a number of other exotic, and unexpected burger options, too! The venue itself is very cool. Meals are prep'd in, and served out of a big, old, stationary food truck that sits... After a trek in the national park or after a day in a kayak you definetely need a good burger. The Fat Tui serves up some awesome burgers. They are big and full of passion - made by people that love food! All burgers are packed with fantastic condiments and will give your taste buds a happy ride. Nothing ordinary... More

This is a static caravan at Marahau beach. You order your fish and chips or various meat burgers then sit on long benches in the open to eat. A very good atmosphere, very friendly

Great burgers from this shack in a "Carpark" long wait but it's worth it! A must do in Abel Tasman. We will be back when it re opens.

You'd never know by looking at me but I've enjoyed many a burger in my time and this was definitely up there as one of the best. The choices were brilliant and they tasted amazing. Very very filling and tasty. I think it's probably best for my health that i live on the other side of the world from them... More

A great way to cap off your day after some activities. We tasted a couple of burgers and can't really say which one was the best - but they're all big! Cheers!

Move over fergburger (no idea what the hype in queenstown is about) - it is all about the fat tui! I had the Hau (beetroot, egg, pineapple, beef patty) my sister the Sparrows fart (!) which was like english breakfast in a bun. Both superb and freshly made with great salad and homemade seeded buns. About $14 each. A must... More

Don't leave Marahau without going to the Fat Tui, it is an absolute must! My hubby really recommends The Roar, a huge freshly made venison burger topped with lots of healthy delicious salad. He loved it so much he bought the t shirt! I opted for fish and chips which was also scrummy. They have a great selection so it... More

Superbly situated at the entrance to Abel Tasman National Park, this modest looking 'burger van' simply has to be visited. We ordered 'cow pat' and 'off the hook' burgers (respectively beef and local fillet fish), and kumara chips. The menu includes other burgers made of chicken, lamb, mussels, venison, and veggie. All items were cooked / constructed while we waited,... More
