Not much to say apart from awesome. Great friendly service, and some of the best burgers we've had. We tried the chicken, beef and vegetarian burgers and were very pleased with the size and taste. To top it off we ordered coffee and it was great. We will definitely be returning as soon as humanly possible!

This was the only place open when we got of the Abel Tasman Trek about 8:30 PM. It's a quirky little place, a trailer/food truck kind of cafe. No beer or wine served. Not too many choices, mostly hotdogs, burgers, and fish & chips. We took the latter and brought them back to our room because it was raining and... More

Love their veggie burger. Was so good we went back the next day for more. It is a massive portion, and will keep you filled up for a while. If there are a lot of people there can be a bit of a wait though.

The reviews below were not exaggerated- it's essentially an offbeat, quirky little food truck on blocks in a very tiny hamlet on the beach adjacent to the Abel Tasman National Park. Despite an opportunity to easily benefit from a captive audience, the food is creative, delicious and fresh. This is what good food is about!

Not a sit-down restaurant as such, but the food is wonderful. Although it advertises as a sort of burger bar, they do lots of other wonderful food as well, and you can sit on the wooden benches to enjoy it. The burgers are out of the ordinary, and are highly recommended.

The Fat Tui offers excellent, massive burgers! I had "The Muss" an mussel patty with garlic aoli, tartar sauce, onions, carrots, avocado and red onion. The menu features a number of other exotic, and unexpected burger options, too! The venue itself is very cool. Meals are prep'd in, and served out of a big, old, stationary food truck that sits... This is a static caravan at Marahau beach. You order your fish and chips or various meat burgers then sit on long benches in the open to eat. A very good atmosphere, very friendly
