took friends to this really excellent restaurant for Sunday lunch. Wonderful sharing dish of crab, mussels and smoked salmon, the lots of beef. So much that could not manage any of the excellent looking puddings. lots of babies so obviously child friendly.

Have eaten here regularly since it opened. The menu used to mostly change every week but now is the same for weeks on end. Have noticed a review of their sister pub about a couple who play "what's missing this week". Have had the mussels four times in the last five weeks (menu not changing) but only once did it... More

Went for a family meal. We have been several times before but they appear to have completely lost the plot. Very short menu and I struggled to find something to eat. Had Salt Beef starter. They might have mentioned that it was a terrine and pretty tasteless with two small pieces of toast which were the only tasty thing on... More

We have been eating at the Swan regularly for a while now, so were doubly disappointed by this visit. We all struggled to find something that appealed on the menu. My mussels were well cooked but not overly generous portion and rather dull seasoning which was described as lightly spiced, but couldn't find any spices on the palate at all.... More

We are almost regulars at the Swan, having been at least a dozen times and we have noticed the original zest is missing. Maybe staff turnover is too high. This time we payed £150 for a reasonable meal for 4 but there were too many omissions. Plates were cold, one of our main meals was undercooked and not warm enough.... More

We booked a table via the website 2hrs before arrival and was greeted by a friendly staff member who showed us to our seat. The setting is very nice for couples dining with a shabby chic feel to the restaurant. The food was out of this world and very reasonably priced! I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Been to the Swan on numerous occasions since it opened maybe 4 years ago?? It is still my absolute favourite place to go for all occasions. Living near Bristol it's a 30min drive but so very worth it! The staff are always very welcoming and efficient and it's always so clean and tidy. The bar area is great for a... More

Went in on Saturday morning for tea & coffee. When I ordered I was told the the wait for coffee was 10-15 minutes! We had a table, but gave up & walked up to the George where we were warmly greeted & served immediately.

An impromptu meal out. Decided to try The Swan , hadn't got around to it. My starter was a salad , artichokes mentioned on menu but although the starter was enjoyable artichokes were illusive. We ordered the sea food sharing platte.,Pate' was good, trout gravad lax disappointing no hint of the sweetness or flavour of dill to be expected, and... More
