"nd visit great

Visited here with husband and 2 friends. Luckily the friend offered to drive as it's a bit too far/expensive to take a taxi to and from Weston. Starters lovely - sweetcorn soup, chicken skewers and crab tureen, followed by sirloin steaks with peppercorn sauce and whole plaice all with lovely... read more

Stopped here for lunch with my daughter, sat outside in the lovely garden as it was really warm. Ordered off the main a la carte menu. Long wait for food to arrive, I suppose they were fairly busy..... I ordered cod and daughter had some sort of salad. Cod was £18 I recall, tiny portion on a couple of spoons... More

Went for a family lunch after hearing good reviews. Contempory style with gastro pub cooking. We had the typical Sunday lunch where there is alot of competion. We chose the beef, pork and lamb to cover the joints on offer. Firstly, service was excellent , attentive, friendly and not too fast paced. On our visit the pub/restaurant was nearly full.... More

The food is some of the best I've tasted. They make their own bread, and produce is sourced locally, the menu changes daily. I wish this was my local, I would be in here every day

My stay was short, but it it was a good choice. Meal tasty, and lots of drinks to choose from. Happy I stopped here. Relaxed atmosphere and staff friendly and always around which was great.

Really lovely ham, egg and chips best I've had in some time. Good range of local drinks and pleasant atmosphere, feels somehow right and not artfully themed which is a pleasant relief these days

This is the first time I have been at the Swan. We asked the waitress what she recommended and she advised the platter (chicken skewer, beetroot houmous, fish cakes and a few other bits). I didn't want a huge meal so took her advice so I could share with others. What I was served was a very small platter that... More

Prompt service and a quiet table. The lamb is really good but my friend was disappointed with the crab cake medley with beet root hummus etc. I can recommend the Shiraz! We chose to share a dessert - chose the strawberry parfait with gooseberry ' crumble'. I wish I had taken a photo- it is the funniest looking dessert ever!... More
