Went in on Saturday morning for tea & coffee. When I ordered I was told the the wait for coffee was 10-15 minutes! We had a table, but gave up & walked up to the George where we were warmly greeted & served immediately.

An impromptu meal out. Decided to try The Swan , hadn't got around to it. My starter was a salad , artichokes mentioned on menu but although the starter was enjoyable artichokes were illusive. We ordered the sea food sharing platte.,Pate' was good, trout gravad lax disappointing no hint of the sweetness or flavour of dill to be expected, and... More

We had the most fantastic meal at The Swan, celebrating with my husband and his work colleagues. Quality of the food was outstanding, the staff were most friendly and attentive and the whole ambience and decor cannont be faulted. We had the most fabulous evening. It's the only really special place to eat in Wedmore.

Love the Swan, everytime you visit there's always something locally sourced and different on the menu! I always opt for the Fish Sharer type meals as they are amazing... Will carry on being a regular here. Highly recommended. Also if you aren't drinking the local bottled soft drinks are amazing :)

On reading the reviews we were unsure as to what to expect, however we were pleasantly surprised! We arrived a little early but was offered the opportunity to go direct to the table or have a drink in the bar. We had starters which were delicious, I had the scotch egg and my partner had the terrine. Followed by ox... More

My son paid for lunch at the Swan. We have visited this establishment many times, so thought I would compose a review. We sat by the log burner on a bitterly cold day, lovely!. My son had the lunch of the day which included a free drink (for £10) he had pheasant pie with greens and mash which he said... More

Sorry about the rating (The Swan has been one of my favourite places to eat). However, I was a bit disappointed with the overall experience last weekend. it was a busy Saturday due to the amazing band 'fromage en feu' playing in the other room. I was told we could only have a table at 6 ish as they were... More

They really do need to up their game as far as the food is concerned. Had lunch here a couple of weeks ago, decided on the pheasant Kiev, just did'nt work, bones and sinue , also outside very overlcooked. My Son had a very average burger with cold chips. My Grandaughter was delighted with her Shepherd's pie, so not all... More
