Cody's is always a fun place to eat. Peanuts in the shell are out for you to enjoy before your meal. Casual food is served such as fajitas and burgers. Always good food and very reasonable prices if you have the family with you.

Just visited The Villages for the first time, and Cody's was our first meal there, which set the food bar high for the rest of the trip. My hubby had the corned beef & cabbage special (it was St. Patty's), and I chose a steak & shrimp combo. Both were delicious, and came with a great salad, and the yummiest... More

We've been here several times and always leave full and happy. The menu is extensive and we haven't had a bad meal yet! The margaritas are absolutely wonderful and the two-for-one price is right!! Our favorite restaurant in Brownwood!

My friend and I recently had dinner at Cody's. While enjoying the salad that was tossed at the table, I heard something clank on the glass plate. It was a two inch wood screw covered with salad dressing. The manager came to the table and asked how that got in the salad???? I responded, "you tell me!" My appetite was... More

We had party of 8 on Friday. We had called an hour before so we could get seated without much of a wait, which worked out well. They place was very crowded as expected. 6 people ordered the fish and chips and the other two ordered Tilapia, all the fish and chip orders came out at the same time but... More

Food is consistently good. Service varies greatly as to mixed-up orders, timeliness, and checking to see if customers are satisfied with their order.

The "wallpaper" was mostly old, out of state license plates. Had fun dining with my college roomie and our wives of some 44 years ago. The food was good, though I can do catfish a whole lot better using bacon grease and Zatarains. The Fried Green tomatoes were good and the Mushroom burger was, well, a burger. I thought the... More

We always go here when we have visitors in town - wide variety of food for everyone. Love their panko parmesan crusted chicken! Can't beat the yeast rolls or the tableside salad! Peanuts to eat while waiting for your seat (popular place - can sometimes be quite a wait) make waiting a lot easier.
