Took the whole family for a meal and was not dissapointed. my kids ate every bit on their plates as did we all. the chef took such pride in his menu and food he served it really showed. I was pleasantly surprised at the prices for food and drinks and can see the new management has definately turned this pub... More

Had two meals here since the change of ownership last month and things are looking good. The Goldcroft now has a good chef who obviously has pride in his work and ability to deliver. The doom bar flows very well and the family and friends will be returning soon. Goldcroft chicken is a real hunger buster and the bolognese is... More

We called in on the off chance, having discovered that it was under new management; we did have reservations as we had a bad experience back in April, this was changed as we walked through the door, gone is the pool table and the gambling machine, the seating area is back and the relaxed feel of the place, this was... If you love real fresh home cooked meals then I would highly recommend this place, was my first visit and won't be the last. We were first in at opening and greeted with a warm welcome. Food was served quickly and extra gravy, sauces and vegetables were also put out. Everything tasted so good we also stopped for pudding! (Which... More

A party fof 10 of us visited the Goldcroft on Saturday night for food and drinks and could honestly not fault anything!! Food was tasty and hot, service was excellent and the whole atmosphere was really good. If anything the food is underpriced for what we had!! We will definitely be returning!!

Four of us went to The Goldcroft last night - we had heard and had read some bad reviews but speak as you find - we could not fault our meal at all - it was tasty, hot, good portions and so reasonably priced. Accept the Goldcroft for what it is - back to being a good village pub with... More

I went earlyish on a warm Tuesday night with a friend who had eaten there some time ago,and said it was very good. When I looked at the sad offerings on the menu I thought she must have lost her marbles.! It would make Weatherspoons look look like gourmet eating, nothing of anything different. We both opted for the steak,... More

I shan't visit this place again. Went with a group of friends and was really disappointed! Drinks - need to up there game everything we wanted they either ran out of or didn't have it. Had 1 glass of Shiraz went for another but no they'd ran out. Despite the big sign behind the bar advertising Pimms they didn't have... More
