There might not be much of a point reviewing a place that will soon cease to exist (due to expiring lease, by no means due to insufficient happy customers!), but I just wanted to give a shout out to what was delicious lunches (including many vegan options) and great service at a reasonable price - if a new location opens... Great sandwiches with creative offerings of all kinds but the Stanford location is closing and may already be closed.

Beyond solid sandwiches. The Jim Rome is a classic. In the engineering building for all us/you non students. The veggie options are just as good as the meat options.

Some of the greatest sandwiches you'll find in Palo Alto... This is a small place wedged into one of Stanford Uni's building. if headed there try the Menage a trois. one of the best sandwiches ever.

You can't find a better lunch on campus! Food was very tasty- try the chicken and honey mustard "ménage a trois", veggie "your fave muppet" or one of many cool menu options listed only on-line. It was a long wait but still well worth it!

Too bad they abandoned the half sandwich, but Ike's Place always serves good sandwiches. My favorite is Spiffy Tiffy. Even though the sandwich can get a bit pricey, but this place is quite worth it to visit once in a while for a good lunch. The guy who takes your order is really friendly as well; sometimes, he could get... More

Ike's menu is a bit deceptive. It looks like there's more variety than actually there is, but it hardly bothers me because the vegan meatball sandwich is so splendid. Great sauce. The lines can be heinous, but until 11, ou can call in and order for pickup.

Such amazing sandwiches here. From the hidden secret menu to the "standard" choices, you really can't go wrong. Dutch crunch is my favorite bread and I am a huge fan of the Godfather sauce. Lines can get long so be prepared to wait around lunchtime unless you call in your order.

Checked this out yesterday for the first time. I had previously seen the shop's sf location featured man vs food. The wait was long, but worth it. We also arrived at noon during peak lunch rush. Although I'm not vegan, I was excited to see all the vegan faux meats and cheeses along with the gluten free bread option. For... More

The key with Ike's is being prepared and knowing that you are going to have to wait a while. The lines are outrageously long, and it can take an hour just to order. Then, you have to wait about another half-hour. Of course, everyone is there for a reason; the sandwiches are awesome. The menu is full of unique sandwiches;... More
