Fresh and inventive

Delicious salads and sandwiches. Indoor and outdoor seating. Popular with visitors to Cantor Museum so avoid at peak times. Cappuccinos also good. Particular like fresh local ingredients of highest quality.

A short menu but with some interesting choices, the veggie sandwich was particularly tasty. Iced water and coffee on tap. Gets busy around lunchtime with staff and students queuing.

Wow - this place is a little gem. It serves local organic produce - delicious and healthy. We had a combo of a black bean soup (hearty and tasty) and a half sandwich. It was a roasted seasonal vegetables and goat's cheese sandwich and it was really good. We also shared an heirloom tomato and mozzarella salad. It was made... More

The Cool Cafe is tucked away on the Stanford campus. Do try to find it for a really delicious and pleasant meal. We sat outdoors and enjoyed the weather (the current view is obstructed by construction). My turkey sandwich was delicious served on a tasty cranberry nut bread. Others in the party had a great burger, super chicken sandwich, and... More

Little cafe in the Cantor Museum on Stanford Campus. Interesting options in soups and salads and sandwiches, all fresh. Can sit outdoors weather permitting and enjoy a view of the sculpture garden, trees, etc.

This tiny cafe is an adjunct to the Cantor Art Museum on the Stanford University campus. Food is funky but well done as it is supervised by a celebrity chef, Jesse Cool. Overpriced for what it is, but the odd but tasty soups, the interesting sandwiches, etc. hit the spot after touring the museum. About half the diners eat outside.... More

Nice view of campus. Had a reasonable beet salad and a Calistoga water for 12.45 including tax.

Located adjacent to the Cantor Museum on the the Stanford University campus, this outpost of the Flea Street Cafe is a must. A medium indoor space looking like a mini upscale cafeteria, it is the outside patio dining and inside food that draws patrons. The food is locavor and organic. It is delicious, beautifully plated, and without frills. My toasted... More
