Spectacular View, Delicious Food, Smart Service

This is probably the best view I have ever had during dinner at sunset. We had the grilled fish and a plate of vegetables. it was very tasty. The wine was a bit unusual but didn't detract from what was a thoroughly enjoyable meal and experience.

Situated right on the sea opposite the Five Islands bird sanctuaries, they offer trips out to the islands by long tailed boats, resting expectantly in a small makeshift harbour right by the restaurant. The food is excellent with a good choice, and can be served within the restaurant or on tables outside right on the sand!

A superb location opposite the uninhabited Five Islands group on the West Coast of Koh Samui, the restaurant offers an excellent menu and is beautifully served either just inside or just outside the main covered restaurant area. A good choice of meat and fish as well as vegetarian dishes. Long tail boat rides are available out to the inspect the... More

We hired are own long tail boat, which was amazing. We were the only people on Koh mud son beach watching the sunset, a treasured memory .The snorkelling was great however there's a lot of coral , really worth doing a five island tour

This excellent eatery has been renamed the Virgin Coast Restaurant and that's the signpost to look for as you turn off the main road at the Elephant Gate. It's on the beach about a mile north of where Five Islands used to be and has the same stunning view over the sea to the islands. Tables under their canopy or... More

Unfortunately 'The Five Island' restaurant has been closed for over 10 months. Recent reviews must be getting mixed up with 'The Island View' restaurant next door, which has now taken over the whole area. The chef & staff have moved to 'The Virgin Coast' restaurant which is approximately 5-10 mins drive heading north.

We stayed at Intercon and loved it but this is a short walk down the beach. They will also pick you up from hotel/drop off for free Good food and good massages available by the beach too. Reasonably priced and really exceptionally nice people who played with our baby, got out toys etc... As mentioned the food was very good... More

We were welcomed by friendly staff who seated us on a table on the beach overlooking the Islands as the sunset and we were immediately sold. The food was nice and tasty, less the Pad Thai that seemed to have a western ketchup flavour but the other classic Thai dishes were great.
