We went there to see the sunset among other things, but the rain came and spoiled that, but the Seabass fillet (red curry) tasted so good! It is worth a try! And the people working there are very nice people. The restaurant has a great location at the beach. Go for it!

I recently enjoyed a meal at this restaurant, food was average while the location was very nice. Unfortunately when I got the bill I did feel I was paying for the view. The portions are not so generous and the wine list is small but hugely overpriced. There are two small local restaurants nearby which serve the same food at... More

Gorgeous traditional Thai food, a beautiful setting on the beach. Excellent friendly service. Picked us up and dropped us back to the hotel at no added cost.

This restaurants has had more drama than the US Congress. The founder and owner has left (Im not going into the story) but it is still running and is very nice. Great views right out the front of the Five Island. You'll enjoy the 'modern' Thai and Western menu.

Great restaurant. Picked us up from a nearby hotel and dropped us off. Food was great and good value. It's in a very nice location next to the sea. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

We found this restaurant from google map, after our round-the-island of koh samui, the food is tasty, cheap and clean and the view is incredible, we eat while enjoying the sunset and also his Ministry is very remarkable.

The Thai food here is great, and the portions are almost too big. Really nice and quiet place, a hidden pearl. The service is very good, and the whole staff greets you when you come and leaves:)

I have been going to Samui for the last 18 years and quite frequently stay at the intercon baan talingam (formerly the meredien). Right next to it is an absolutely delightful restaurant- the Five Islands. The food is consistently excellent ( my wife and kids ate there half a dozen times) -both the thai (not foreigner thai food but authentic... More

Went over to have drinks just before the sunset and it is the most fantastic view that I encountered.... the drinks can be improved during the happy hours. Food is good and the service team is very friendly and accommodating.... some interesting merchandizing items there as well.... definitely recommended for sunset....
