Spot on! Was quite expensive with main dishes averaging around £15 however if you're looking for something quite special or a treat, it's worth every penny because the food is delicious and high quality. My dad and brother got the stone steak, where the chef came and cooked the steak to their liking on a very hot stone at the... More

As per the last visit, great service, good food and good portions. Our last visit, we pre-booked and pre-ordered for 18. This visit we just rang and booked, placed our orders when we sat down (for 16). In what seemed like no time at all we were being served, the whole meal went perfectly, staff and service great, and of... More

We visited the Blacksmiths Arms on Saturday 4th July. We arrived slightly before the time which our table was booked for so we got a drink from the bar and enjoyed the sunshine in the garden area. Once we were seated for our meal we ordered moules as a starter to share which we're very tasty. We each then ordered... More

We visited at short notice on Saturday night, and what find this was. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the food was amazing! Lots of variety, and the uniqueness of steak on a stone. We had to try it and we're not disappointed! Great food at a good price, which isn't easy to find these days! Will definitely... More

Table 14 Trio of meats again and not disappointed. I have to say that the meats were cooked to perfection, the Yorkshires were first class and the gravy to die for. This was the closest anyone anywhere has ever come to matching my Grandma's Sunday dinners and if that is not accolade .................. What is?

Happened upon the Blacksmith Arms on a country drive, just me and my son. The first impressions were, lovely staff and nice atmosphere. My son had a Hunters chicken and I had a salad and it was so obvious that the food was cooked from fresh which is always nice. The menu is immense - I've not seen such a... More
