The service was very good. Very nice staff. Location and view were very nice. They allowed us to bring our small dog in on the patio on a hot day. The food was just okay, but not great. Small portions.

While cycling along Le P’tit Train du Nord, it was nice to come upon such a quaint, pretty setting on the shore of a sparkling river. You have to cycle down quite a steep hill, so I chose to walk my bike because I’m not a very strong cyclist. It was well worth the effort! They have an outdoor patio,... More

This place rents out canoes and kayaks, as well as is a restaurant with a great view of the beach and water. We spent a day here canoeing which was so relaxing, calm and beautiful, followed by swimming and relaxing at a quiet beach. We had lunch at the restaurant, really delicious burgers (not just your typical burger). It's a... More

Super surprise. Great food and great view at a fair price. Well worth the 15 min. drive from Mont Tremblant.

Our family was cycling the Petit Train du Nord trail, and stayed overnight at the Auberge de la Gare. We decided for variety to lunch at the Kayak Cafe. We were a little confused how to get to the cafe at first - it's down a precipitous trail off the bike path, fortunately well identified by a sign. The cafe... More

We had booked to kayak from the rental shop below and were surprised how lovely this cafe looked on a long summer day. So after our 3 hr kayak, they collected us and bought us back to here to collect our car. We decided to stop off and have a beer before going back to our accommodation. Sat on the... More

Following a canoe experience down the Rouge River, my boyfriend and I had a little meal at the Kayak cafe and had one of the best burgers ever! A thick, thick tasty patty with all the trimmings including a delightfully flavoured mayonnaise. Excellent!

Came here with friends for the kayaking. Place was charming and had a waterview. The kayaking was just downstairs, so the people of our group that arrived decided to have a drink on the outdoor patio. It was a hot summer day and the drinks were refreshing and surprisingly original. The waiter was very attentive and provided excellent service, coming... More

We had just finished paddling the Red River and were happy to see that Kaya Cafe was open for dinner. Seated at the perfect spot overlooking the falls, the magic began! People began to stroll in, rather slowly, but soon the place filled with foodies and families. Hurray, we thought, the locals know this is the place to go...and it... More

It was just ok. The menu choice at lunchtime was limited and service a bit slow. I don't think its worth the detour from the cycle trail as the cafe at the station looked equally good.
